July 19th, 2005 12:29 AM #48The promo was P1.5M for an MPV and a Miata, sometime in the end of '97. When the promo didn't sell well, they started selling the Miata alone at P560-570k just to finish the stock. Quite a drop from the intro price in '96 of P750k.
From what i've heard, Mazda will not bring in the 3rd gen miata due to a minimum volume required (about 300 units) which they feel they can't all sell.
