Without Greenfields sticker you cannot pass this route sir. I heard an Ayala sticker will do, i just don't know what exactly Ayala sticker (may be corporate if there is one). Safe kasi guarded on various ends along the route. Ang traffic lang on this side is right at the exit ng Mamplasan at 7:30 am and afternoon at 5pm onwards, that's on weekdays.

Its steep with no lights, bangin yun, dont pass at nightime. We used to climb our mtb there via canlubang golf.

Sir, what if from Tagaytay ang uwi ko is sa Bacoor (Molino Blvd cor Niog Rd), ano ang best way na maiiwasan ko Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay Rd?

Easy but you need to try the niog to tagaytay route first, from niog go straight to paliparan upto governors drive(tumbok) once there turn right then turn left in 20 or so meters to greenwoods, straight again, that will be paliparan silang road, tumbok turn right straight to bayan of silang, tumbok (see oil gasoline station on your left) turn left, then turn right agad, from there youll see you have reached aguinaldo hi way, going left is tagaytay. Just back track if going home. From niog around 30mins to tagaytay if you know this route, as long as hindi ka ma traffic sa SM molino.

    Eto ba yan sir?

Google Maps street names: Molino Blvd > Molino Rd > (cross Daang Hari Rd) > Molino-Paliparan Rd > Governor's Dr (short) > Paliparan-Silang Rd > Sabutan Rd > J Rizal (short) > Kapitan Sayas St > Aguinaldo Hwy

Salamat ng madami sir. Try ko yan bukas.

Yung from Taal Vista to Aguinaldo, walang no choice eh, hehe. Unless willing kang dumaan sa gilid ng mga pinyahan.

Tried that once (Pulong Bunga Rd), parang roller coaster ang alon tapos saktong sakto lang 2 sasakyan pag side by side. Not doing that again.

You can take the road going down to General Trias (where Gateway is located) - from Taal Vista,- turn left at the City Hall. And then after about 15Km(?), turn right to Governor's Drive... Now you have the option to take the Open Canal or take Aguinaldo Hiway... I'd recommend the latter even if there will be moderate traffic at Dasmarinas (because of the [heavy] traffic at the intersection of Molino Road and Daang Hari if you are crossing it from the Open Canal route), and turn right at Salitran-Salawag Rd (this road brings you to the The Orchard) and then turn left to Molino-Paliparan Rd... You're on your way....

    Straight drive,- no traffic....

Well, what if we combine the two...

    map.jpg

Problem point na naobserve ko (by "driving" thru google street view) is the Crisanto Delos Reyes - Banay Banay Rd intersection, as well as the whole Banay Banay Rd.

    What do you guys think?

    It depends sir

Just an observation, If coming from open canal road going towards sm molino via daan hari, on weekends there is less volume, but stay away from here on rush hour on weekdays, if coming from molino-paliparan road, its traffic on the weekends.....given becoz of the volume of standby jeeps and people coming and going to sm

I regulary drive thur there, using my jazz, ive been mountain biking there for a few years so i got used to the place, i use the cardiac pass via sta rosa when going up to avoid traffic, when going down you feel like a rally car driver when, you just need to know every corner. Plenty of hard lefts and rights and you dont need to step on the gas coz its so steep

Usual route ko since I'm from Las Pinas.

    Molino Road-Paliparan-Governor Drive-Aguinaldo Highway.

Yung Aguinaldo highway sa route na ito is lampas na ng bayan ng Damarinas so wala ng traffic.

Don't go right sa Daang Hari, susuyudin mo Dasma bayan gapang ka dyan.

Buhayin ko lang yung thread mga sir.

I will be going to Tagaytay for the first time this Saturday to attend a wedding. I'll be coming from Pampanga and will be leaving Pampanga at 5 AM.
Ano po kaya best route to take para iwas sa major traffic?

My plan is NLEX -> EDSA -> SLEX ->ETON Exit-> Tagaytay. Any other suggestions? If I leave 5AM ano ETA kaya sa Tagaytay?

If minimal traffic thru Edsa, expect a 4 hour trip. However, it is a long weekend so 9am going up the Sta Rosa Tagaytay Rd might already be crowded. Leave earlier, you're already up naman.
