from NLEX take San Fernando exit, make a right from the exit's tollbooth.
Go straight until you see this monument, where you then turn left. Follow the main road, it's rather long, then somewhere you will hit a stoplight where you make a left towards Subic's APEC gate.
meron pa ba ibang daan wala na yata coming from manila.. NLEX lang then Exit sa San Fernando..... going to Bataan road... diretso lang then Kanan ka sa may mga Kalabaw rebulto.. (layak) yata tawag sa lugar na yon... then drive ka pa all the way hanggang sa makita mo na yung bagong road to SUBIC.. may toll fee din..
yung monument na sinasabi ni al_motor e yung bataan soldiers' monument sa dinalupihan bataan. pagdating mo dun make a right turn towards zambales. pag nasa zigzag ka na meron ka makikita T intersection na may stop light. left turn ka dun to go to subic. toll fee is 20 pesos. do not lose the security pass that they will give you at the customs check point, they will ask for it when you exit subic freeport. pwede ka din dumiretso instead of turning left pero this will take you thru more zigzag roads going to olongapo city and adds about 30-45 minutes travel time.
subic freeport ba or subic town?
in season na ang zambales mangoes so don't forget to buy a basket for pasalubong. sad to say hindi yun ang tinitinda dun sa zigzag, you need to go to the markets in olongapo to get the real stuff. and to be real sure you need to see it, touch it, feel it, smell it, taste it. pag hindi matamis then it's not.
from the APEC gate, find your way to argonaut highway. there are actually two ways to go there from the APEC gate, although i find it easier to make a right at the 1st junction then make a left at the stoplight. upon turning left, just go straight following the main road. you will eventually reach CUBI airport. at the very end of that main road is an intersection where you can either turn left or right. going left will take you to ocean adventure while turning right will take you to all-hands beach.
ang alternate road is via Angeles City...exit ka angeles and then go to the town of Porac. From Porac merun road na parallel sa Gapan-Ologapo road (from sn fernando)...passing the Basa Air base sa Florida Blanca and ang end point nito ay Dinalupihan rin. Mas walang dumadaan dito sa road na ito but the distance would almost be the same.
2 to 3 hours depending on how good you are overtaking tricycles in the middle of a 2 lane road ehehehehe! dami tricycles sa olongapo-gapan road. then add another 30 minutes to ocean adventure. watch out for monkeys on the road, if you leave at 7am then by the time you reach subic that will be just about the time they come out to the road side. meron kami nakita last time we were there na monkey, nasagasaan yung tail nya tapos hindi naputol. meron na gangrene yung tail, kawawa.
napalitan na ba yung bridge na meron checkered plate steel deck dun sa road na sinabi mo? i passed there 4 times already and each time meron ako nakita na nag-collide sa railings ng bridge. whoever is that bright engineer who decided to put checkered steel plates on a bridge (no traction at all when even just slightly wet) and put a bend in the middle of the bridge must be some f*#$%* genius! imagine driving on a surface with no traction then bigla may bend! sa gitna ng bridge! first time i passed there i was just going a little over 10 kph and i also almost hit the railings!
