I had rota wheels on my previous ride... only had one "bengkong" incident with it. I hit a very big pothole along NLEX (at high speed too). Even before I had it fixed, I had no air leaks, etc.

I use my Rotas off-road. No problem. I think that's enough of a test for most road conditions.

Siliverwind at Philippine Racing ang layo ng quality from Rota.

Rota din ang karamihang gamit ng Auto-X'er sa US, wala namang problema. May once incident noon pero it was quickly resolved by doing a recall on most wheels sold according to manufacture date. After that incident, Rota had improved the load ratio of each wheel manufactured.

I've had deformed ROTAs, but then I've had non-ROTA mags deform under similar conditions, also. My route is very provincial, lots of potholes, bumps, rocks, ruts, etc... taken at speed. ANY "aftermarket" magwheel will deform under these conditions.

ROTA developed their "soft" reputation because stock mags usually don't deform when you hit bumps at those speeds because they have thicker tires to protect them. If your stock mags are as big as ROTAs, with thin tires, there's absolutely no difference.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

My Rota Slipstream 16s (except 1) acquired some bengkongs, but I do not blame this on poor quality. Perhaps part of the reason is the tires, which are only 45 series (I cannot fit taller rubber dahil sasayad). I also think these wheels are too lightweight to withstand our awful road conditions. In better roads (abroad), they will work perfectly.

mabigat daw motegi compared to rotas.

i see zero ads for rota, a ton of ads for motegi.

i hear a lot of good and great reviews for rota, none yet for motegi. i spend a lot of time online pa ah.

    you'll get the picture.
