I've finally seen one up close. There's a little less kit than in the Accent (no rear center armrest, for example), but the design is very modern and very nice, even if the plastics are still Korean cheap. Overall, it's a very pretty little car.

i havent seen a rio hatchback yet. bakit mas mahal kun hatchback version na compared sa sedan type? i like the new rio, ganda ng porma, fuel efficient at 5 star crash rating pa ata sa U.S. saw 1 crash test ng rio sa youtube, wow, tibay! try watching it guys sa you tube.

The hatches are more expensive because they are only available in A/T. And hatches are generally more expensive than sedans in that segment.
