may aftermarket alarm ba ang carnival mo? normally ganito ang pagkakawire nila. pag bukas mo ng pinto, mag bi blink ang ilaw sa panel, etc. etc.

ganun nga ang napansin ko sir pag bukas ko ng door.nagbliblink ung park lights.pnalagay ko lang kasi sir ung alarm ng sasakyan after namin mabili.any suggestion sir kung ano dapat gawin.

tanong ko na rin sir,RE battery..nbasa ko kasi sa previous thread that N100 dapat and battery ng carnival,,a rocket or atlas brand..is it ok to conclude that regardless of the BRAND as long as it is a N100 battery,as ok siya for our van.meron kasi d2 sa pangasinan ,2,400, mas mura kesa sa mga recommended brand..ang gamit ko kasi ngaun motolite ung enduro,kabibili lang kasi ng dating may ari last july '09.still observing the battery.so far so good pa naman.but i'm having this second thought of buying the N100(GS brand),dahil nga sa pwedeng mangyari kung 3SM lang ang battery.TIA sir.

correct. regardless of the brand, dapat 100AH ang rating ng batt.

bago pa kasi ung batt mo ngaun kaya di pa halata. suggest ko lang magpalit ka na as early as possible. para maiwasan ang problema sa electricals in the future.

share ko lang, over the weekend maintenance ginawa sa van ko. started kasi when charging was failing at may squeaking sound. buy ako batt for testing and yung luma from the prev owner was a motolite enduro, replaced it with an outlast low maintenance 3SM, 90 amps. Hindi kasya yung N100. I just thought this is better than 70amps. Checked the charging mahina talaga pag naka-on na mga accessories. I had it checked sa electrician and said may problema alternator. Brought to an alternator shop, replaced the bearing kasi sira na at diode? After nun oks na charging but there is now a different squeaking sound. Had it checked again sa mechanic found out pasira na din mga belts, replaced the belts and idler bearing/pulley. Was happy cause mas gumanda ang takbo mas responsive na, may effect ba sa takbo pag mahina ang charging?
Anyway, ang masama dito meron nanaman ako naririnig na low pitched squeaking sound. Ano pa kaya ang cause nun? TIA

BTW, im looking for this type of cargo seats. Baka meron kayo pwede i-refer.

Nung nabili ko kasi yung van, row seats pero naka fix (improvised) kailangan mo pang pumunta sa ilalim ng van para ma-alis mga screws and totally remove the seats if you need to use the cargo area, napaka-hassle. Mas convienient para sa akin yung pwede i-fold sa sides. TIA

sir john_mkt,i just wonder what is the brand of the belt as the replacemnet of the old belt.i just had an experience last month RE Belt.I replaced the alternator belt(Gates ang brand),idler pulleys, but still the squeaking sound was still there.Until i read a thread of our GURUS: advicing that nothing is better than the original parts.and true enough i replaced the belt with a CONTITECH brand belt.the sound disappears.back read ka lang marami kang matutunan.
check mo rin yung tensioner bearing sa may aircon.that might be the one causing the sound..

Oo 1970's pa lang me internet na kami. Haha. System glitch perhaps. tagal ko ng nagpopost di ko napansin yan ha. observant ka.

Problema nga dito is, yung kaisa-isang marunong sa kotse sa kanila aalis na. yeah best idea is to have it checked but the question is where?

By the way, eto mga shops na pinagpapagawan ko ng carnival namin:

Suspension: Cruven Crame
Electrical: Rey's Electrical Marikina
Spare parts: Fronte Banawe, Fernandos Auto supply Antipolo, Lourdes Auto supply banawe.

I guess your best bet na me nabibilhan ng parts then dun na din ipapagawa is CASA. I've personally tried Kia Pasig. Ok naman ang service kasi konti nagpapagawa. You'll be surprised sometimes OE parts are cheap. Just in case, look for Marlon.

hi came back after months of not posting..the last time i went here, my dad is really hopeless na talaga.. but pinilit nya tyagain tignan yung sasakyan, and together with my brother, they found out na yung "fuse" (sa likod ata to, not really sure) is sunog na. so they had it replaced and voila! naging ok yung sasakyan for a week or 2 rin ata..

then, during one of our trips to manila, the engine just suddenly stopped!!! una parang tumunog sya na malakas na parang sa motor, then nagstop na..hai, sa gitna ng kalsada, along aguinaldo highway. and this happened thrice..to make it short, the culprit daw was the RPM, bumababa.. so we also need to turn off the aircon for some time pa.. and then tinaasan yugn RPM value.. so there, going smooth na naman..

then nagkaroon ng problem naman na parang may whistle sound tuwing istart sya sa umaga.. i forgot na how this was resolved..

then, meron pang yung manibela nagkaproblem, yung kambyo medyo maluwag na, bigla kaming tinirik ulit, un pala napindot yung hold something na hindi naman daw napipindot..

hai! stress!

and just today.. tinirik ulit kami papunta kami ng manila ulit.. the RPM was low again,.ayaw magstart.. may chineck un brother ko sa may ibaba ng manibela.. wires ata un,and sabi nya sunog daw.. so bili kami (fuse daw, 10 and 15amps), and he replaced it.. nagstart naman kaso the glowplug light keeps on flashing.. pinaandar pa rin namin para makarating kami sa relatives namin..

tapos pinacheck namin sa mekaniko/electrician..kaso wala na raw bigla yung glowplug light.. tapos napansin din na once he started the engine, bukas na rin daw engine, na hindi daw dapat ganun.. pero OK na raw so far kasi nga nawala un light.. kaso parang tumigas pa rin daw un brake.. tapos parang may naamoy daw silang sunog na goma.. inopen ung fuse box, mainit daw.. may binunot daw na relay while the engine is on.. then ayun, ang naging problem naman.. AYAW MAG-OFF!! inipit pa daw ung sa may oil (sakal) para lang magoff un sasakyan..ung parklight, di na rin nagana ung LOW< puro HIGH..

ang plan ngayon, pacheck na lang sa KIA mismo, naiwan na sa manila kasi un sasakyan,natakot si mama na iuwi pa dito sa cavite at baka madisgrasya pa kami sa daan, dun sana papacheck.. ang tanong saan plan na rin ni papa ibenta na lang din sana after maayos..

sir, yung malaking belt CONTITECH and yung sa aircon GATES naman. pa-check ko ulit although tolerable pa naman or baka praning lang ako kasi gastos nanaman kung nagkataon
nag-check ako ng ATF followed the steps sa manual and to my surprise below minimum level na smooth pa naman ang shifting pero bothered na ako according sa manual ATF is dexron IIE or M-III, wala ako makita na ATF na dexron IIE halos lahat dexron III. By searching na net upgraded ATF ang dexron III at backward compatible sya, pwede na kaya dexron III mga sirs? TIA
