mga peeps, tanong lang po, i was told the new carnival has a 2.9L CRDi 16V WGT turbocharged engine. So what's WGT? iba rin daw ang vgt e so i'm curious kung ano nman yung wgt. tia.

yep. gas engine nga ang carnival mo.

WGT afaik is Waste Gate Turbo, on my book its just a normal turbine. compared to the Variable Geometry Turbos that are installed in the current starex. Kainis nga di pa ginawang VGT.

helo po. may idea po ba kayo kung magkano tail light assembly for kia carnival 2000. yun surplus po magkano? yun new po? naatrasan kasi ng tricycle yun right tail light ko. basag! from dagupan, pangasinan po ako. saan din po makakabili? TIA!

Two days ago I was travelling along sucat road on my way to Makati Med via skyway. May Revo sa harap ko occupying the rightmost lane where cars going to the skyway were supposed to be. Ang bagal magpatakbo nasa 70 kph lang. when we went to the ramp, the naging dalawa na yung lane so I tried overtaking but he occupied the center of the lanes, nasa broken line sya kaya di ako maka-overtake. I tried flashing twice ayaw bumigay. I tried two short beeps from my horn, ayaw pa rin bumigay.

When we finally entered the skyway, he was still occupying the center of the leftmost and middle lanes. I honked twice then overtook from the right to let him know I was there, it was the only one open kasi he was blocking two lanes nga.

Aba, yung mokong binilisan din ang takbo! Habulan kami hanggang 100kph, then 110 kph, then 120kph... I finally overtook him when I reached 130kph! Iniwan ko na sya and I changed to the leftmost lane na because I had an epass. I checked on my rearview mirror, ang layo na nya so I slowly went down to 110kph again.

Ha ha... wala lang, natuwa lang ako sa carnival namin.

I've been meaning to ask nga pala: may nabibilhan ba ng isang pilot seat lang?

We have a 10-seater kia sedona 2004 model kasi. The problem is, you can't recline the middle seats fully dahil masyado silang malapad, tinatamaan yung lalagyan ng cups pag ni-recline yung middle seats.

We were thinking, what if we changed one of the middle seats to a pilot seat, yung pang-isahan lang? Para makahiga naman ng husto yung panganay namin...

Has anyone tried this? May alam ba kayo na mabibilhan ng pilot seat lang? Magkano kaya yun?

Update regarding the smell emanating from the aircon: wala na.

Yung unang buga na lang ang may pagka-maalat yung amoy, after that okay na.

I just make sure to dry the evaporators first before turning off the engine as advised somewhere in tsikot. Around 1-3 minutes ko sya pinapahanginan by turning the fan on full blast with the aircon off.

Hello Sir Praetor,

Bale bench type seat ang middle row mo ano? Seatmate ang nag convert niyan para maging bench type, if you will notice, may biyak siya sa may bandang front underside na cinoveran lang ng piece of metal. Puede nila uling gawing double captain chairs yan. 10k yata ang conversion way back in 2006.

Because we have the same type of seat. Thought of having it reverted back to two captain chairs but decided otherwise, because i needed the extra seats in the middle and besides 10k is a lot of money. The middle row seat has a mechanism that makes it swivel backward. You can use of this function if you decide to reconvert it to captain/pilot seats.
