Mintoy, thanks for the help bro. anyway all of those issues are already resolved. contrary to what most peeps here recommended.
1. a/c problem, turns out the hi pressure hose mang mario replaced was indeed the culprit. they had me going back to them 3 times without any resolution. pinapalitan pa nila rear evaporator di naman pala un ang problema. tsk tsk tsk...ok na ok na a/c. been 3 weeks.
2. Just replaced the fan and the problem was solved instantly. Same shop who replaced the faulty hi pressure hose.
3. Radiator had a hairline crack which became bigger so the leak was more evident. Replaced the radiator with a new one. Monitoring pa rin so far. Di na nagbabawas sa reservoir.

July 23rd, 2008 10:53 AM #2273hi mga peeps,
after reading about the post of egr. i decided to disable the egr of our sedona. i did this by disconnecting the vaccum switch from the alternator to the egr. then started the engine and veved a few times. i noticed now that we don't smell anything comming from the exhaust. will observe it a bit more and will keep you guys posted.
i did this cuz of the problem of having the intake manifold cleaned in the casa every 10-15k due to smoke belching. i found this a bit strainge. but thanks to you guys i know why.

Sir Mikey, Sir Yapoy, and all the other gurus hello po sa inyong lahat....
here's my situation...last night on their way home the wifey called at sabi daw ng driver na biglang nawalan ng power steering and brakes... they were at C5 and we live in marikina...so from the great infos that i read here before i was thinking na baka naputulan ng belt or bumigay na yung crankshaft pulley...anyways long story short naigapang yung van hanggang dito sa haus.... Alternator belt ang culprit...so heres the thing i just changed tha A/C and Alternator belts last jan 08 so 6 months palang bumgay na yung belt (gates ang brand php 750 bili ko sa fronte)... what could be the reason? quality of the belt? anyways im gonna have the crankshaft pulley checked as well para malaman kung kailangan na din palitan...for now ang quick fix was we changed the belt this morning para lang magamit pang hatid sa school ng bata...until further diagnosi...
any advice is greatly appreciated....thanks nice day to all

If your worried about egr's being plugged up why not get rid of the cause, Adding water/alcohol injection will keep your whole intake tract right down to the piston tops almost 95% carbon free, The extra HP is just a bonus.
