Guys where do your source your Orig or OEM Sedona Parts in Banawe, QC?
I've read here that Fronte is the primary shop to go to, but called them up only to learn that most of their parts are korean replacements. Seiring on the other hand still has Orig. parts according to them, but price is 50-60% steeper than figures provided before by some of our Sedona/Carnival gurus. Last on my shops list that I got from the earlier pages are Karmelcon. They gave the cheapest price for claimed orig. Kia parts but still 10-15% pricier than figures posted before.
For example, quoted price before from one of our Sedona brethren for an orig fuel filter was sub 300, but price range I got for the originals was from 550-1,000.
One more thing, do you still use Biodiesel as an additive? Aren't all diesel fuels nowadays contain a premix of 1% biodiesel as mandated or are we still better off adding our own BD2-BD5 mixture? Are they still beneficial? Lastly, what brand of Diesel do you use? Shell, Petron, Caltex, Flying V, or Seaoil?
Thanks in advance! Hope the gurus will post back soon...

Perhaps you're referring to the emergency fuel tank lid release cable. Could you indicate what it looks like in a photo?
Regarding OEM parts... maybe there have been price increases since the time the figures you saw were posted. Looking back at my previous receipts, I discovered that in 2002, an air filter cost 450 pesos at Wheels E. Rod, but when I bought one two months ago it already cost 646 pesos. I only bought a fuel filter from Wheels once, in 2004, and it cost 795 pesos then.
Anyway, try getting in touch with Jay Castillo, another Tsikoteer. He might be able to offer you a good price --I got my latest OEM parts from him last month and he was able to ship them to me in Pangasinan.
Lastly, I haven't used biodiesel in my Sedona since we moved to the province in 2004. My van is now five years old and has logged over 163,000 km, and I haven't had any engine problems yet. I just rely on the pre-blended biodiesel at the pumps. When the van was new, I used Petron, then tried Shell for a few months, as well as Seaoil. I assessed that for me, Petron provided better engine responsive and lesser smoke than the others, so I went back to Petron and have been using it ever since.

kenzie,
A lot has happened from page 38 till page 99 of this thread. I've already moved to the province, and I haven't had my Sedona serviced at Wheels E. Rod in over 3 years. Luckily, Kia Pangasinan provides relatively good service, and this is where I go most of the time for repairs. For run-of-the-mill PMS, dun lang ako sa suki kong gas station

Quick tire question guys. Ok lang kaya kung salpakan ko ng 205/65R15 tires yung 03 Sedona ko? May gulong kasi ako dito di ko sure kung pwede ko syang gamitin since 215/70R15 ang stock ng Sedona.
If ever what would be the cons of this? Sayang kasi kung di ko naman magagamit yung tires.
Thanks!
