Glass installed on cars are quite durable. It has nothing to do with our ride being korean. Take note our ride can do 150kph easy. And nothing happens to it. Have seen a hilux, a hiace, both toyotas, a honda civic, fuso fighter truck, isuzu 10W, all having cracked front windshields. Some were not identified as the cause, those identified was due to an object striking the glass.

Considering that the alarm sounded while your car was parked, most probably your glass was hit, either deliberately or by accident. So many times our company was approached by owners of either establishments or cars, claiming that a stone/pebble was struck by our service vehicle's tire, tumalsik daw yung bato, at sapol yung glass nila, basag. This is another possibility with your glass. Imagine an idle stone, suddenly sideswiped by the tire of a fast moving vehicle. For a stone to fly up in the air caused by a moving tire would require such a force that can easily break glass.

To make glass requires very high heat. Our summer's heat wave is chicken feed compared to the heat required to mold glass.

on another note, for those with the gen2 versions, how do you adjust the headlight up and down? I found the screw to move the headlight left and right, but not up and down. Gen2 uses 4 H7 bulbs, low beam is separate to high beam, unlike Gen1 using 2 H4 bulbs. I want to bring high beam up higher, nakukulangan ako sa position niya. The shop were I bought the aftermarket h7 bulbs also doesnt know how to adjust the sedona's headlight. Casa also said wala daw adjustment. First time I heard na wala in a car.

if the sensor is not working anymore, the A/T computer module will interpret the absence of a reading that the engine is still cold -- consequently, it will prevent the transmission from going into overdrive.

btw, that part cost me P500.-- at goodgear. HTH and hope that this post did not arrive too late.
posted this minutes ago at mintoy's thread re his sedona not going into overdrive.

reposting this here for the benefit of this thread's regulars.

OT: what kind/brand of coolant do you use for Sedona LS? and how do you use it?...do you drain the radiator and just mix the coolant with the water?...Sorry, it would be my first time to change my coolant

    Mike G:

The recommended coolant for the Carnival/Sedona cars are ethyline glycol based coolants to protect the aluminum parts of the engine. The manual states that coolant/anti freeze should not exceed 60%. So 50% -50% ethyline glycol and demineralized/distilled water is sufficient.
