benchph1::: By dampers, do you mean the shock absorbers? Casa price ba yung P5k o sa Banawe?

I finally got the broken door handle replaced. Since I also bought an unpainted assembly, I just asked the mechanic to swap to broken handle itself with the new handle. It's interesting to note that the pins holding the old handle were metal, while the new replacement assembly uses plastic pins, so I asked him to just retain the metal pins which look more durable.

Cost of labor was also P300.

I also replaced my busted Fiamm horns with a pair of Bosch horns, so now my Sedona sounds like my Starex

Baka pwede mong gawin yung suggestion ni Mamar na yung handle lang mismo ang i-swap mula sa bagong assembly para bawas gastos ng repaint. That's what I plan to do with mine since I noticed that the new assembly uses plastic pins to hold the handle in place while my old assembly has what looks like metal pins.

Yung sa akin kasi handle mismo ang nabali. I put super glue on it for the meantime as I'm still busy with Christmas stuff so I can't have it repaired yet.

    Hi there,

Finally, I was able to replace my 2 sliding door handles last weekend, although we could not do the same (to replace just the handle) as the new one does not fit the old one. Mas malaki yung bago (yung nakakakabit sa pivot pin), although I checked the part number, pareho lang naman dun sa nabili namin. We bought it at Goodgear at 830, kaso mukhang chopsuey na yung kia (metallic reed) car ko:-), kulay white yung isa tapos black naman yung kabila:-), hopefully, mapa-pinturahan ko sya agad.

    Hope this helps!

    Hello Hinlog,

There are 2 types of door handles being sold at goodgear. One is the new one made by Mobis, ito yung malaki ang pin and probably ang nabili mo. And the other one is the orig KIA na nakalagay sa brown box which is the size ng rides natin. These two carries exactly the same parts number.

    mikey777,

300 lang ang difference ng casa at sa auto supply, OE shocks to ah. pareho silang 5k + per pc. nagtanung ako sa Lourdes Auto Supply. dun ko binili rear KYB's ko almost 2 years ago.

Sira na pala talaga front shocks ko, na-aggravate lang siguro ng Nitrogen sa gulong . pero arguably, nung nagswitch back ako from nitro to compressed air, hindi na ganun sa "floaty" ang ride kapag mabilis.

buhay pa naman yung pinapalitan kong sliding door handle. though admittedly, it feels flimsy compared to the other side who still has the original. para bang anytime masisira na naman.

    Hi guys!

I finally replaced 4 of my tires (except the reserve) yesterday with RV501. And the good thing is from 3,250, they were given to me at 3K each.

Unfortunately, one of the tire caps got busted when the mechanic was careless in removing it.... nabungi 'yung mga plastic sa likod, isa lang natira... .

Any body knows where I can get a replacement for it?

    Thanks!!!

hey jordan, i was changing tires one time and i realize those small hub caps aren't easy to remove and install. busting one up can be pretty easy if not careful.

not all sedonas and carnivals have that hubcap. maybe the others can give you an idea where to ask. good gear and fronte come immediately to mind.

anyway 3k is a great price if it included mounting and balancing. where did you buy the tires? hope it wasn't miller, hehe. tia!

I actually messed up one already when I first got the Carnival. Lucky for me then, my cousin who also owns a Carnival changed his caps to the local ones when he lost one of the original. And I seem to get accustomed in removing and replacing the caps because I am the one who do it when I go to the casa... unfortunately, the mechanic was over zealous in removing one of the caps....

I think only the grey market Carnivals have these.... do you have the number of Good Gear and Fronte?

It included the mounting and balancing, just added 50 pesos for the tingga. Bought the tires in Antipolo.

Anybody knows where I can get the Hub (or have an extra to spare), PLEASE .

    Thanks!

Had this same problem also on my unit though the battery is brand new and have my alternator checked (ok naman daw.)

There seems to be a problem somewhere that the unit is eating the battery load while the engine is not running. Any similar experience?

On the tires, I've tried yokohama for a sportier look and so far, its OK with me (plus the savings i got... hehehe)

    Bench,

Just replaced my 2 front shocks last week with oem products * 3,800 pesos/piece from goodgear ( along with 2 stabilizer links and 2 rack ends). I was not satisfied with the shocks that i had repaired and refilled at *****, the ride becomes harsh and bouncy even when we've reduced the pressure of the dampers. So back to oem shocks for my carnival.

    Jordan,

Hubcaps for your carnival/sedona are available for sale at goodgear . Saw this in their display cabinets. Telephone # of goodgear is 834-0954, 831-9203, 833-8382 & 833-5493. Hope this helps.
