p8baller, correction 2 1/2 hours driving time yun!
and that was on a corona ex saloon 12 years ago... those good old days when the highways were still deserted from midnight to early morning.
these days, sub 3 hour runs to baguio are few and far between because of increased traffic on the highways.

December 26th, 2006 08:48 AM #1513I remember one Good Friday run from Urdaneta to Metro Manila, in under an hour at around noon, some years back. That was fun. The roads were deserted, not even annoying tricycles was to be seen.

Include me in the non-exclusive broken door handle club sa rides natin. Mine broke this morning because of the ignorance of car wash attendant that serviced my car. Good thing that the owner promised to defray me the cause of the damaged door handle. Only problem is there is no available stock in maroon, so I have no choice but to have it repainted. I'll be paying for the labor and repainting, is that a fair compensation?
BTW, the door handle assembly for carnivals costs 830 pesos at goodgear.

jabr,
That's what I plan to do with mine since I noticed that the new assembly uses plastic pins to hold the handle in place while my old assembly has what looks like metal pins.
I put super glue on it for the meantime as I'm still busy with Christmas stuff so I can't have it repaired yet.

Thanks for the suggestion mikey!

Were you guys able to watch how the door handle assembly was replaced?
