hello to all kia owners here at tsikot... a got a kia LX 96 model from batangas lat week, medyo pabaya ang may ari bulok ang underneath ng cabin at ng trunks...but the engine is malinis at maganda ang tunog..i already repacked and changed the damaged CV boot pati ang steering boot..my problem is matigas tapakan ang accel pedal nilinis ko na yung cable using brake fluid pero ganun pa din..kaya pagarangkada hirap timplahin at nagjejerk..may problem din po kaya ang engine support ko..hope you guys could help me out with my problem..i'll post the picture later of my ride..thanks and more power...

hello im new here. im using my kia cd5 for 3 yrs, good condition nmn., bsta impt maalaga lng sa makina. share k lng sakit ng kia yng fuel filter, dapat every 3 months or less pinapalitan n sya... experience k kc 2mitirik. n overhaul at n p convert k n sya ng power steering., plan k to change my engine B1 to B3 baka meron naghahanp ng makina n b1.. benta k n yng akin. dont wory maganda nmn pg k overhaul nya, balak k lng mag upgrade...

Hi Guys, am new in this forum and i would like to seek some suggestions and recommendations regarding my 1997 kia pride GTX beta which i bought months ago. as far as the condition is concerned, i am very happy driving with this car. however, i have this delima in my a/c system, every time i turn it on it normally heat-up my engine and my temp starts to go up so quick(specially when i get stock to traffic). i just brought it to the a/c specialist but nothing seems to change... need ur advice guys...thanks...

Check the ff:
1. secondary fan if it is functioning. This should engage once the thermostat switch kicks-in
2. Thermostat switch. it should kick-in once the temp starts to rise
3. radiator condition. try to have it checked if it is not clogged


Question: 1. If you have a rpm meter, what is your rpm with and without A/C?

ako ayus naman.. kontento naman ako sa kanya.. except lang sa makalampag heehehe.. paano ba maalis un.. cd5-hacthback 94 model.. malamig naman ang aircon pero ako lang nakakaramdam pero yung sa likod ko hindi maramdaman.. ano ba magandang gawin para malamigan din sila except sa paglalagay ng blower sa may cealing ?

1. anung year model yung pinaka-maganda? in terms of features?
2. Kumusta naman po parts nito...madami pa po ba? hindi ba hirap?
3. Anu po yung mga common problem ng Kia Pride?

Medyo naguguluhan kasi ako...at Zero knowledge po talaga ako..alam ko lang mag drive

merun ako kia pride 4 yrs ko na gamit maganda nman mabilis at tipid sa gas,
1. sympre ung mas bago un mas mgndang model pero mganda kung ung wlang likod na kia buy mo mas maporma
2. madaming mabibilan parts nito sa cavite merun,
3. problema ng kia carburador yan lagi hinahnap ng tao, pero mdli lang un basta alaga sa palit ng fuel filter at lagi mo iniispreyan ng carburator cleaner, d yan ma ccra. goodluck sa pg buy mo ^^

Hi ive been looking for a group/site for Kia Pride owner and end up to this site/forum. I just bought my 1st car and its a 2nd hand Kia CD5 91 model for a very good price. May mga pagawain pa kaya i sent it sa talyer agad after i purchase. As of now nasa talyer parin sya since last week for body repair/paint and engine overhaul it cost me about 50K including the car purchase. Just what many kia owners says yung carborador nga talaga ang sirain kasi base dun sa mekaniko carborador lang ang may problema sa makina then the rest is oks naman. I have good confidence na i be enjoying furnishing this car sabi nga nila mura lang ang mga parts and di mahirap hanapin. I just have one questions, what kind of modification sa engine can i do to improve its engine reliability and performance? hindi naman yung pangkarera yung tipong pwede mong maasahan sa long driving lang. I hope you can suggest some ideas. stock pa yung engine ng auto wala pang modifications na ginawa. do i need to buy na ba new filter?
