Thanks to Parakito for the newly installed steering audio and cruise controls and foglamps! I'm a very satisfied customer! Sa Shelseats ako umorder 6k yun 2-tone na light green/beige combo. Pinatabas ko na din yun driver's side matting 300 pesos lang

Ok sana irony soul for everyday traffic and city driving, Kaya Lang wala ba gasoline, hyundais and Kia CRDi were so supportive of the EUro diesel standard Kaya Lang here in the Philippines, since diesel is mainly for puvs wala Madumi talaga.

Our 2 hyundai vehicles are not as jumpy and fast as when it was first bought, So Kung naging gasoline Lang Ito Ganda pa naman ng porma.

What can you fit at the back of a kia soul without compromising your rear vision and rear passenger seats
    1 full size umbrella
1 jhonny walker bag -3/4 filled with clothes
    1 computer bag
1 box of cookan cookware set
1 blade bag filled with cleaning agents and ice cream bucket
1 medium size black plastic bag filled with dirty clothes
2 large, 1 medium, 1 small plastic bag filled with divisoria purchase
3 small bags of natural salt
2 large garbage bag filled with 250 purchased t-shirts
2 large rolls of gift wrapper
And other stuff... Too small to mention
Nlex hi way avg. run 80-100kph mostly 90kph. Result 4.6l/100km
Fully loaded cargo bay with 4 adults
Engine response: better than i expected. Kahit mabigat parang wala lng karga.
Suspension: i think khale's suspension is built for moderate to heavy loads. Mas maganda yun talbog pag may karga sa likod.
FC: happiest at 80kph-90kph (6th gear) 1.5-1.75rpm nag lalaro 4.5-4.7l/100km or 21-22km/L pag malapit na sa 2rpm)- avg is based on NLEX balintawak to san fernando exit only. NOTE: from balintawak to angeles literal hindi gumalaw yun gauge. Akala ko baka tsamba lang. Pabalik ng manila full tank(sagad) unioil san fernando to las pinas pag uwi ko full tank pa rin sya.
Factors to consider: light traffic since suspended ang school, from time to time pinapatay yun aircon-malamig kasi kahit binawasan na yun thermostat, nag speed test ako. yun 160kph pala nasa almost 3rpm. Estimate 85% economy driving and 15% performance driving.
FC: very heavy traffic( christmas traffic) nsa 11-12l/100km or 8-9km

    2.Baguio Trip
    2.1 SCTEX-TPLEX
Last Jan 1 we went to Baguio via SCTEX-TPLEX route. Since lagpas 1,500 km na yun milage I did a series of performance runs the result:
160kph- more or less nasa 3rpm
170km-175kph- top speed attempted very stable. kaya pa bumilis pero natakot ako since kasama ko magina ko.
average speed 130-140kph (TPLEX only since walang nagbabantay)
Fuel Consumption: If you do not mind wasting a couple of hundred bucks on fuel ride it hard. pero mapapansin mo na hindi na sya ganon ka fuel efficient pag tinakbo mo talaga ng mabilis (mapapansin mo mabilis bumababa yun gauge).
Engine response: Parang wala lang. If hindi ko pa sinabi kay misis na tumatakbo kami ng 140kph hindi nya mapapansin.
Suspension: Last segment of TPLEX (Urdaneta Exit) randam mo yun kalsada pero you cant blame it entirely on the suspension hindi pa ganun kaganda yun kalsada.

    2.2Baguio
    Note: 3 Adults
Long story short walang problema. route Kennon road. Ramdam yun torque sa akyatan. If you guys are familiar with this route alam nyo na meron isang segment dun na pinaka steep na meron sharp curve (after the Lion and before entering Baguio). Anyway dyan ko sinubukan yun power. Dyan ako nag overtake ng mid size sedan na tumatakbo ng mga 20-25kph and parang nag overtake ka lang sa flat road. NOTE:sira ang ulo ko and I don't recommend this style of driving. Pababa ng Baguio economy driving.

Fuel Consumption: 2 days sa Baguio paikot-ikot (mines view,Stawberry Farm, Burnham, Camp John, etc.) + Spirited driving sa Clark SCTEX-Baguio and economy driving pabalik ng Angeles 1,000php *32php per liter (Fuel save Shell La Union) (Route: Angeles-Baguio and V.V.)

    Overall Rating:
Cabin space: 10 out of 10- (It's a sub compact crossover) malaki for its category
Suspension:7.5-8 out of 10- (Ok lang sya pero there's still room for improvement)
Fuel Efficiency: 9 out of 10- My personal best sa NLEX Balintawak-San Fernando 4.5l/100km =22.20km/l Based sa trip computer >70kph <80kph with Air Conditioning.
Cabin noise: 8.5-9 out of 10- Di ko lang alam.. Maybe I'm expecting too much either napakatahimk ng makina or napaka ingay ng mga tricycle at humaharurot na jeep.

Wishlist: Sana naging standard sa Soul. If nilagyan nila ng armrest center console *Sobrang useful sa long trips* (7000-10000php), Fog lights (7500php) and cruise control *Sobrang useful sa long trips* (5000-7000php) maraming patataubin itong Soul

just sharing, my first PMS is still on the horizon but I already bought my own oil.
I asked for a quote for a fully synthetic oil for my soul which was 3K for 6L.

I then asked for the brand and the exact series of the oil they are using and marketed as fully synthetic (Kia Alabang).
The reply was ZIC RV. I was able to get the oil outside Casa for only 1.49K.

As to the deal if you can bring your own oil to the casa, kanya kanyang diskarte na lang po.

looking forward also to see the cost of the 1st PMS sa mga naunang owner ng Soul. Thanks in advance.
