July 5th, 2016 11:51 AM #281[QUOTE=EQAddict;2737970]Good review. I love my 11 seater unit. I find the second row spacious enough and im 5'11.
What it needs though are scruff plates. Gotta find me a set of that. And also i need roof rails.
Power and torque are more than enough for this class of vehicle.
I added some front and back sensors to compliment the rear view camera.
So far so good!
Hi EQAddict,
How much did the rear back up sensors cost? Where did you have it installed if you don't mind. Won't the front sensors be too bothersome as it would be active the entire time the vehicle is moving forward?

July 25th, 2016 01:18 AM #283To owners of 11 seater,
How does the Grand Carnival's 2nd row and 3rd row legroom compare to the current crop of midsize SUVs when the 4th row is stowed?
We're in a market for 7+seaters but my parents are kind of dissatisfied with the legroom offered by the current crop of 7-seater PPV's. I haven't seen the actual unit yet, but I would like to hear your opinions if this could offer more space and comfort for them at the backseat. Hope you can enlighten me. TIA!

July 26th, 2016 06:44 PM #287Thanks all for your reply! I was able to see the 11-seater today. The 2nd and the 3rd row is spacious, but the 4th row has literally no space left when all rows are slid backwards haha
Got a question. The display unit at Kia Sta. Rosa had dotted center grill (just like the new Sportage) as opposed to the regular lined ones I've been seeing. The SA told me that the particular unit has collision sensor built in which the latter batches of 11-seater doesn't have. How true is this?

July 26th, 2016 10:40 PM #288Hi Junichiro. A couple of months back, a 7-seater Carnival delivered at Acropolis had a dotted grill design, round fog lights, all-chrome 19" wheels, lots of added tech, and a V6 gasoline engine. It was quoted at 2.8M! Which was sold for a discounted price of 2.6M.
Afaik, the 2015 (gray interior) and 2016 (beige interior) diesel Carnivals in Acropolis are only fitted with the horizontal bar grills.

July 28th, 2016 01:05 AM #290The 11-seater that you viewed, was that the one with the dotted grill?
You are correct. They sometimes add features to their basic models. In other branches, I saw an 11-seater unit that is fitted with factory side step boards. Although it was a 2015 model (gray interior).
i can easily imagine that, happening here. sigurao, dadami ang bibili nang portable gen. heh heh...
