My luck seems to have run out, I saw one in Ayala Cebu, and do you know much the SA told me? its 1.8m and its Gas. Just imagine when the Diesel comes out, most likely it will be 2m na.. Waaaa, I can't afford that... Why? Why?......

For The Sorento is a good-looking off-roader with a roomy cabin and a massive boot. It has a five-star crash test rating and the diesel engine is very strong.
Against It’s poor to drive and, even on smooth roads, the ride is unsettled. The interior plastics feel cheap, but the car isn’t.
What Car? says
3 out of 5 stars
Practical, safe and available with a fine diesel engine, but the interior isn’t classy enough and many rivals are better to drive.Kia Sorento 4x4 full review
Performance
4 out of 5 stars
The Sorento is available with a 172bhp 2.4-litre petrol engine, but most buyers will choose the 194bhp 2.2-litre diesel instead. This generates oodles of torque, so it can haul you and your family along swiftly, although the optional auto gearbox has a rather tall top gear that forces it to kickdown for overtaking on the motorway. A diesel hybrid model may be offered later.
Ride & Handling
2 out of 5 starsThis is not an area where the Sorento excels. There’s a lot of body lean in bends, and the front tyres run out of grip quite early, while the steering offers little feedback and is overly heavy around town. A jiggly ride completes the disappointing driving experience.
Refinement
3 out of 5 stars
The Sorento’s bluff shape generates some wind noise on the motorway, and the suspension can be heard drumming over bumps. However, the engine is quiet, aside from some rumble when you’re accelerating hard. The automatic gearbox works well, too.
Buying & Owning
3 out of 5 stars
The petrol model will obviously be expensive to run, but the five-seat diesel averages a healthy 43.5mpg in two-wheel drive form and 42.8mpg with four-wheel drive. You also get a five-year unlimited mileage warranty for peace of mind, but the Sorento won’t be cheap to buy, and its residual values are unlikely to match the class best.
Quality & Reliability
2 out of 5 stars
The dashboard is quite smartly styled, but it’s made from hard plastics that look and feel cheap. Never mind rival 4x4s, even more affordable Kia models, such as the Cee’d hatchback, have classier interiors. We expect the Sorento's mechanical components to prove hardy, though.
Safety & Security
4 out of 5 stars
Front seat occupants are protected by front and side airbags, while window airbags run the full length of the cabin. Stability control is also standard across the range, and the Sorento scored a maximum five-star rating in Euro NACP crash tests. Deadlocks, an alarm and an immobiliser make life difficult for thieves.
Behind The Wheel
3 out of 5 stars
Most of the dashboard controls are sensibly laid out and the high-set driving position gives you a commanding view of the road, while the steering wheel adjusts for reach and rake to help you get comfortable. However, the system for adjusting the angle of the seat back is fiddly and imprecise.

- Space & Practicality
5 out of 5 stars
You can order the Sorento as a spacious five-seater with a cavernous loadbay, or as a seven-seater with two extra chairs that fold up from the boot floor. These are fine for kids and shorter adults, but six-footers will find headroom a bit tight. In both versions, the central bench folds almost flat to give you the capacity to transport extra-long loads.
- Equipment
4 out of 5 stars
The entry-level Sorento is a front-wheel drive five-seater that comes with alloy wheels, front and rear electric windows, a socket for your iPod and air-conditioning. Meanwhile, pricier versions have four-wheel drive, seven seats, dual-zone climate control and leather upholstery.

the 2010 Sorento that was shown here in Ayala Cebu, seems to be the entry level (fabric seats, etc, basic ammenities) but is priced * 1.8k... though it was the 4x4 model and Gas variant.. haaayy..
