actually, sa pagkaalam ko Kia was the only dealer who accepted Ondoy car victims for trade-in for their brand new cars.

Trade-in or what I am sure the deal would be fair for both parties, buyer and seller. Sorento buyers are not beggars, they sure can afford the cost.

Driving Impressions:

1st: Ang layo ng pinagkaiba ng comfort nitong 2010 sorento sa 2009 sorento namin.
2nd: Very luxurious interior! Hands down
3rd: Acceleration? OMFGWTF?! The torque is just undescribable. It starts around 1,900rpm and peaks around 2,500rpm. The torque just pulls me endlessly. Incredible machine.
4th: The brake pedal is so soft but it bites with confidence
5th: Quiet. Very Quiet. I have to tell you this, my FD civic is noisier, Period Is this really diesel?????

Additional Info: There was no torque steer. And the weather here is rainy. Still no torque steer. I wonder why. Good engineering or just plain grippy rubber? hehe

It got a different character, demure if driven gently, but mash the throttle, a BEAST comes out.

quiet talaga ang crdi pag bago, iingay din yan. even the torque hihina din hatak nyan.
subukan mo lagyan ng iba't ibang klaseng diesel sa iba't ibang gasolinahan yan, and you'll see. tumatalon din SF ko nun bago eh

but compared to our 2009 sorento, its really quiet. but i also do not notice that when crdi gets old, it gets noisier, well, thats my observation hehe

Yung mga CRDi R eVGT talaga tahimik at mas maganda yung noise insulation ng Hyundai-Kia ngayon kaya di mo maririnig sa loob. Ano pa kaya yung Theta II engine diba..

anyway.. Koji natanggap ko PM mo. Magandang deal ah Magbigay din kaya sila ng ganung deal sa CRDi DeLuxe?

Sa sorento owners if you open your door sa driver or passenger side then tingnan nyo yung side papuntang engine makikita nyo na may makapal na insulation surrounding the engine.. touch it and malambot sya na kulay silver.. parang yung mga heat insulator na ginagamit sa mga bubong...
