how good or bad is it? anything to say about kia's aftersales service? are korean made automobiles of today as reliable as their japanese counterparts. pls advice.tia

The revived sportage and its hyundai tucson cousin are both based on the hyundai elantra sedan. the base model comes equipped with 2.0 liter,V6 model is priced below the four cylinder versions of its competitors.It is very similar to the hyundai tucson,other than interior and exterior styling details,and slight suspension tuning differences,ABS,stability control,and head curtain airbags are all standard,which is commendable,especially in this class.First-year reliability has been much worse than average.
