April 19th, 2012 10:42 PM #13A good aluminum aircon welder did a good job fixing my intercooler. Apparently bumigay yung factory "hinang" dun parehas sa me inlet at outlet elbow tube ng intecooler assy.. medyo nahirapan lang at sobra nipis nung intercooler cguro para mabilis ang pag cool ng air na pumapasok. I hope na tumagal . labor cost 1,5k ....

September 22nd, 2014 10:42 PM #14Mga boss, normal lang po ba yung may kaunting oil between tube line ng turbo at intercooler? Nabutas po kasi yung tube line(radiator hose ang itsura) ng dmax ko so noong ipinaayos ko po ang sabi ng mekaniko dapat daw po hangin lang ang nagcicirculate between turbo to intercooler. Totoo po ba yun? Ang sabi pa nya baka daw hindi na ok yung repair kit ng turbo kaya may kaunting langis na nakakasama.

If there's oil in the air intake tube after the intercooler, you may have to check your turbo. Could be the oil is coming from there, as your mechanic says.

Try cleaning everything first. Baka naman residue lang nung sira dati.
Pagnagkalangis ulit, oil seal sa turbo charger.

September 23rd, 2014 07:01 AM #17Oil in the intercooler came from oil mist of crancase ventilation, that is normal. Leak in the charged intake cooler and piping is not, such defect could result to wrong boost pressure resulting to poor economy and loss of power.
