Hi guys, eto nanaman ako, ask ko lang kung by looking malalaman kung dapat nang palitan ang timing belt? pwedi kaya itong patignan sa casa, during change oil? how much po kaya ang magiging cost nya kung sakaling need na itong palita? thanks guys, censya na maraming tanong, he he he.

February 28th, 2011 04:11 PM #2sir ang pag kakaalam ko is 200000 km bago magpalit ng timing belt base from the owners manual..ung sakin di pa ako nagpapalit..by the way pampanga din ako (mabalacat)

Hi sir dh0n, ilan na yung mileage ng trooper mo, may idea kanaba kung how much the timing belt and the labor in casa, and saan ka nagpapa change engine oil, did you try inteco isuzu pampanga along gapan olongapo hway in dolores? thanks.

March 1st, 2011 05:20 PM #7so far ok pa naman i had a top speed of 160kph last saturday lang sa nlex...medyo malakas lang sa diesel..ang fc ko is between 6-7km/liter city driving...bad experience some incompetent mechanic palagay ko nga minsan mga apprentice(ojt) lang sila pero meron silang magaling na mechanic dun si gilbert kaso nag abroad na siya and medyo matagal ang service lalo na pag saturday..

thank you sir dh0n and sir Benzmizer, madagal din pala ang timing belt ng 4jx1, pwedi bang silipin yung T belt ng isang mekaniko for crack or deterioration?

Nope. It's inside the engine. Unlike a fan belt, we rely on the accuracy of the mileage to determine whether it's time to have it replaced already. Yung ibang "nagtitipid" at wala naman daw "symptoms" na kailangan na palitan T-belt, kapag minalas ka at naputulan ka while running, sa malamang overhaul katapat nun!
... and that's what other call, "savings".
just done 10,000 km already replaced the transfer case fluid w/ ravenol MZG 90. a lot thicker...
