questions on A/T O/D and door locks

hi, isuzu gurus. tanong lang po re my sportivo A/T 2007:

1. nawala yung O/D off light ko even when O/D is turned off, then napansin ko habang rekta sa NLEX mukhang hindi gumagana yung O/D, so i'm pretty sure hindi lang electrical. ano po kaya problema?

2. while moving and usually when stepping on the brakes, biglang nagbubukas or nagpipilit magbukas yung auto locks. any idea what's wrong?

And will appreciate po any suggestions kung saan pwede dalhin para mapatingnan. Thanks much.

1. baka yung OD sensor.
2. electrical yan.... dun sa central locking system mo.

sir, ok na yung door lock. correct po, electrical nga. with regards to the O/D, madali lang ba pagawa yun saka mahal ba? baka may ma-recommend kayong shop. thanks.

goodevening makasingit lang sa question #1: baka naman busted yun bulb ng O/D off sa panel. try to consult from car electrician. And what do you mean ang hindi gumagana yun O/D? O/D always ON yan as you are on driving unless kung i-press mo yun push button sa shift lever then the O/D off is active as you will notice coz it is luminated. AFAIK kahit busted yun bulb ng O/D off is still okay as long yun behaviour run ng car mo is mapi_feel mo na mag downshift sa 3rd gear from 4th gear in D. and thats the time you can overtake a certain vehicle as if you want.

usually O/D switch off is using for overtaking. when you're about to overtake a certain vehicle just switch the O/D off while on the D shift and then add acceleration it will automatically shift into 3rd gear as you will feel or noticed then as you overtake then back to O/D on.

At 80kph above o/d off, the rpm does not drop to near idling when you release the throttle.

Ang napansin ko, habang nakarekta at in-off ko yung O/D switch, hindi lumilitaw yung O/D Off light sa dashboard at hindi rin nagda-downshift. So naka-on lang O/D lagi even when I press it at off position.
