Bakit ba laging nananakot at idinidiin ng ilang Isuzu SA na gamitin ang super duper over-priced na Isuzu SAE40(kailan ba nagkaroon ng refinery ang Isuzu?) motor oil imbis sa mga far more better and well-graded oils?

    Sales talk na nakakainis. Hehehe.

    Naranasan niyo ba ito?

ganyan din ang BMW dealership dito sa may amin. but they are not so stupid that they will say that their synthetic oil is somehow better than others like Castrol or Mobil.

style nila bulok - ang quote nila sa presyo ng oil change is $xxx.xx plus cost of oil. hindi nila sasabihin na yung charge nila per quart is more expensive than molten gold

IGMO monograde to be precised. IMO sae 40's thick viscosity lessen the noise esp from 4ja-1. But i think sa umpisa lang. I've used the Delo Gold and Shell Rimula (yellow) both monograde.

Bro, parang mas maganda ang Mobil Delvac(not the SAE40)? Ang laki ng difference sa performance especially sa vibration. Hamak na mas mura at mas quality pa sa IGMO.

*IGMO - mukhang character sa Pugad Baboy. Hehehe.

Yup, ako rin di na nag monograde (IGMO during free service warranty and after trying Delo Gold and Shell Rimula J) Haven’t tried the Mobil Delvac 15-40 pero mukhang okay nga. after Shell Rimula-X and Castrol GTX Diesel babalik ulit ako sa Delo Multigrade ISO SYN.

    makiki-kwento ulit

    dami ko na na-try :
    IGMO SAE40
    caltex delo gold monograde
    caltex delo gold multigrade sae15-40
    caltex silver
    shell helix diesel 15W-40
    shell helix (SAE40)
    shell rotella SAE40
    petron rev-x trekker 15W-40
petron HD (SAE40) - yung pang jeepney hehehe
    castrol gtx diesel
    castrol crd
LG collins diesel motor oil multigrade (15W-40)

di pa ko na ka try ng mobil delvac. meron feedback si master x-wind na di daw maganda so I didnt try. Of the oils I've tried above, rev-x trekker, castrol crd, and minsan yung delo gold multigrade, ok sila although gut feel lang yun. parang mas less ang noise, pero sa umpisa lang. habang naluluma na yung oil, umiingay na rin. surprising yung petron HD, the cheapest of the bunch, ok performance sa umpisa. pero after a few weeks, tunog jeepney ka narin hehehe.
yung IGMO, ok naman, pero maingay as you near the 5000 km preventive maintenance mark. di ako naniniwala sa sabi ng casa. minsan nahuli ko sila, sinasalinan ng castrol yung lalagyan nila ng IGMO. di ko lang nabusisi kung yun ba talga yung IGMO na sinasabi nila.

I dont think that mono grade oil is better than multi grade oil.

Who manufactures Isuzu's oil? Anyone know?

I guess they push it to make more money. Kinda like Toyota pushing Toyota Oil and saying its the best for their cars. Well, Toyota oil is actually made by Caltex. I also know that CAT or Caterpillar diesel engine oil is made by Mobil.

Isuzu SAE40 oil is better than Mobil, Elf, etc.?
