    Mga isuzu hilander owners magkano po ba mag pa convert ng rack and pinion kesa sa nakakabit na recirculating ball and nut kasi di ako comfortable sa steering pwede bang parts na gamitin yung pang alterra yung rack and pinion nyon thanks.......

    Just asking, why do you have to convert your existing ball and nut steering to rack and pinion type? Power assisted naman yan. Besides, rack and pinion is not suitable for rough roads. Kadalasan nasisira dyan ay tie rod end, tie rod, rubber boots. Isa pang problema sa rack and pinion ay yung tagas ng power steering fluid pag sira na mga oil seals sa steering assembly. Pag may alog ang tie rod, tie rod end, kalampag maririnig mo madalas. Mas magaan ipihit, reliable and durable ang ball and nut type. Ganyan nakalagay sa mga trucks, buses. Kadalasan sa kotse lang nakalagay ang rack and pinion.
