as for the vgt engine ng dmax... isuzu has already tested that engine for philippines... kung ano prob ng ibang crdi engine sa ibang brands thats what hapening sa engine na dinala.. even of they have set or adapted it for philippines standard or climate... even if they have lessen the hp to 146 from 165... still the problems occur... but once they have tested the engine wiht a clean diesel like what they have in thailand or europe... the problem didint occur anymore.. the cause would be the diesel we have here in our country lacks refinement or process... kaya they have just settled for the engine we have right now rather than soiling their good reputation of being a reliable diesel engine... dahil ang engine used by thailnd is designed for their climate, their fuel, their country... and tayo dito is just nanghiram and really notdesigned for our country...

sorry for the stupid question. never having been to thailand i thought conditions there mirror or would at least be similar dito satin sa pinas? maybe except for fuel quality. pero whatver the case i hope they make the uprated engines work here kasi they it seems yung mga ka-competensya nila nagagawan ng paraan paganahin reliably yung mga crdi nila satin

if the ISuzu's VGT's problem here is the diesel/fuel quality, then why does Hyundai's and Ford's VGT's work here?

....Competition on what, let's be clear muna kung anong aspect, hp? ergos? fuel economy?....Honestly, given the normal driving conditions and useage of a pickup truck...and fuel price...I find the DMax well suited for the job...It depends on the user mainly kung satisfied sya or hindi, but kahit hindi ganun kalakas or ka sophisticated yung model, kung satisfied ang consumer, well, why Isuzu should compete kung halos everyday more and more people are satisfied on their reliability/fuel economy and not speed or power...Why don't you ask Isuzu when they are going to release that model if it's possible? Hmm..bat ka nga ba makikipagcompete kung underdog ang model tapos malaki naman ang sales hehehehe....mga bro maybe in paper panalo ibang brands but in receipts that's a different story, sa hirap ng buhay ngaun i don't care kung super duper extra ordinary pickup ka pa, mahalaga may natitirang pera sa bulsa mo

the engine works but would have problems later part of its use... hindi naman ang turbo masisira.. tis the design of the engine that is a bit different from the turbo we are using now... and needs clean diesel....
