guys, i just want to ask a question... wala po ba talagang "door open indicator light" ang DMAX?? it's hard for me to check if all the doors are properly closed or not, specially for my dad when using it... pati yung "fog lamp indicator" hindi rin umiilaw pag naka on...

i already ask the dealer about it, pero ang sabi sakin wala daw talaga... but i checked the user's manual and ang sabi meron daw sya... sinilip ko rin yung dash info display and i can point it out where the indicators should be lighting... i am just very keen when it comes to indicators of our cars... thanks!!!

Hello fellow Dmax owners! If anyone's planning to change or upgrade their stock Dmax tires (in good condition)? I'm willing to buy them for a good price.

Unfortunately DMAX doesn't have that indicator light. If there will be people riding with me, especially old ones, what I do is flick the cabin light to door as to warn me if there is an open door. It doesn't have that separate dash indicator for the fog lamp but whenever you turn on the headlight knob, fog lamp or headlights, you'll see the light indicator in the tachometer gauge I think under number 3.

Sad to hear about your truck. This happened in one of my vehicles before but it was a car. My driver was the one who experienced it and he brought it to the dealer. They just replaced a chip. I forgot what it was called. But the story was the same wherein whenever the MIL lights, the engine dies. Try bringing it to Isuzu Commonwealth.

i think turbo start to kick in when it reaches its desired rpm, just only my thinking but im not sure of it.

just pm me if you have remedy for it,i will do it for my dmax also.

I heard mine whistle especially at high speeds. But I only drive around 60 to 80 mark and I haven't really payed attention if it's whistling or not. But I could really feel its power if ever I need it.

Turbo timers are used as to give time for the turbo to cool off prior to turning off. I don't think it would facilitate in letting you know if the turbo has kicked already. I don't know a remedy for that though.

hahaha... that "engine light" issue is not unique.

yung dmax ko nagkakaganyan when it is doing 3k RPM at 120kph....almost 5 years old na dmax mo ganun pa rin. Hindi kaya ng casa i-solve yung problem.

tapos yung sa kasama ko naman basta-basta na lang din nagkakaganyan pag nasa 90kph range naman siya - casa said it was a clutch problem... pero I doubt.
