Hi guys.. Im planning to get a 2nd hand 07 (new look) dmax .. I would want to know from you DMAX owners which is better, M/T or A/T? Which is faster? gusto ko kasi di maiiwan pag convoy with my other SUV's ..
I Dont have to much info about the DMAX..What were some of the problems you guys encountered in the long run?
I choose DMAX kasi up to 800K lang budget ko for a second hand pick up..
Thanks..

my dad's ride is a 4x2 LS AT (although i am the one using it everyday)... it can keep up with our Fortuner 2.7 VVT-i (which is my ride, using them alternately)... pagka may out of town ang family, no one is being left behind even at high speeds... i call them the "Twin White Devils"...

On what basis is this? Brochure? Engine displacement? From what i know, optimum performance is based on a good balance of POWER-TO-WEIGHT RATIO. Ergo, it does not automatically mean that if a vehicle is 3.5L, it means it's "faster" than a 3.0L.
Modesty aside, I have tried a D-Max 4x2 AT and achieved 200kph. I am not sure if there is a convoy that would require that speed.
