there is a quick temporary fix for the squeaky leafspring, try finding po lithium grease and spray it in between the leaf of each spring it has a straw like the wd40 for hard to reach areas... hope this helps... ^_^
another solution maybe is to tighten the U-bolt that holds the leafspring... peace po... ^_^

kuya, if you can post the top view of your 4jj1 and the pipes that connect the intercooler, turbo, engine, and the turbo wastegate, i might be able to show you how to put the bov... ^_^ peace po....

Hehe. Mine is also a 4JH1 like yours. I was just wondering how much more "oomph" could be extracted from a 4JJ1 engine.

Does anyone know what causes the brakes to pulsate? It's like sitting on an office chair with wheels with someone pushing you forward, then back, then forward, then back. Any advice would be appreciated.

Perhaps your ABS is working. That's why vehicles equipped with ABS, the brake pedal should not be pumped as it lessens its effectiveness. Instead, just press the brake pedal and let the ABS do the pumping.

Sir/s, with the engine specifications of 08 Dmax, do you think it could match the speeds of its competitors in terms of speed, same 4x2 category but regardless if it's M/T or A/T? Let's say in NLEX, end to end. I noticed that in terms of HP, the Dmax tops in that category but with the 294 nm of torque compared to 314(Strada), 330(Ford) and the 356(Navara), it clearly says it's the weakest in that segment. Their HPs are not that far so I think if I see one of those vehicles on the road and try to feel a little adrenalin rush, I might eat their dust.hehe Though I know pickups are not meant for racing, sometimes I wanna give the engine a little exercise.hehe

For your query on the spray on bedliner, I haven't tried the plastic bedliner yet so I don't know how durable it is. All I know is based from my friends, they didn't recommend that to me. They told me that in time, water might penetrate in it and it will cause the bed to rust. I have always used spray on bedliner on my trucks and I could say that they are really durable. They might be more expensive, but it's worth it. Added to that, though I already have a spray on bedliner, I still put the rubberized padding (I don't know how to call it but in Banawe, I see men carrying those in rolls and they cost 450.) I put that for added protection so that when I put a thing that has sharp edge, it wouldn't scrape the liner.

Sir, could you please observe your rig if this also happens to you. Before at around 1300-1600 kms in my odometer, I noticed that my truck makes this sound from the engine. A quick but weird sound that has an echo. It sounds like this kkkrrrrrrrraaaaaaarrrrrrrrr (I'm sorry for the sound effects.hehe) I don't know how to mimic it but it's like that. Usually it's duration is about 2 seconds but the echo elongates it. I tried to have it checked in my dealer, but I don't know how to explain it and I don't have any idea where it's coming from and when it will make that sound. I went to Vigan last weekend and traveled like 900+ kms but it didn't sound and today while parking it, it made that sound(my odo reading now is almost 2300.) It's so odd. If this happens to you, could you please let me know. Thanks!
Sir, as your query for the sound.umm, i havnt noticed anything strange pa naman with the sounds of above 1600rpm. mine still sounds the same as it was when i got it out from the dealer. i seldom use my radio so as to hear the engine if there are any problems. but luckily, nothing. i just went back to the dealer to have my camber and alignment checked coz i have a stiff right turn. or may kabig pa sa right.but after that, still nothing with the engine.

ill inform you asap as soon as i hear anything strange too. thanks
