Do you have any scratches on your truck? How's the paint on the scratches? I hope your paint is thicker than mine.

As for the dents, manipis talaga ang kaha at paint ng isuzu. My other cars only get scratched, not dents from simple bumps from opening doors. I have not encountered the same problem with my honda, nissan or toyota.

Try calling LA Car Accessories. I'll pm you the website.

The paint basically as what you said is " is as thick as a tracing paper " i've already got plenty of it . i bought the unit during the time when LS models was out of stock. they said LX models during that time was made in thailand.

I kept getting the squealing sound on my brakes too, but on another pickup. Do you still use original brake pads/shoes? On my older pickup I used replacement pads that had a metal element in it. I found out that it was the source of the squeaking, squealing metal to metal noise. No matter how many times I had them cleaned, the noise always came back. I also found out that it carved a few cavities in my brake's rotors. Had them refinished at a machine shop and went back to original pads. Now they only make that annoying noise when they're dirty.

Oh well, at least there's cold comfort in knowing we have the same paint problem.

It's funny you mentioned it was made in thailand. I was just there last year. A lot of pickups there, about a third of all vehicles on the roads were pickups. Most of them were either the Hilux (#1 in Thailand) or the Dmax (#2). Thais love their trucks, even the people selling street food drove pickups.

Could you guys post what motor oil you used on your Dmax gave the best results? I'm currently on Shell Helix Super Diesel.

    RE: BRAKE PADS

Yes sir, I think they are still the original pads. But on my 50km service check up I will have them replaced or maybe have them refinished too.

Basta right hand drive, baligtad ang orientation ng mga switches and controls compared to a left hand drive, so di pwede yung sa Holden Rodeo. ;)

Guys, I think my 08 dmax is too bouncy. What can I do with it? I don't hear any squeaking or any sound but it's way too bouncy for me. Also, I noticed that all of a sudden the car shakes mildly and has a kkkrrrrrrggggg sound. It only takes a second and after that it will not happen again for that day. I don't know what's wrong with it. At first I thought the gear is higher than its speed and the engine or turbo had a hard time catching up but it happens once everyday. Am I the only one experiencing this? It's due for its first PMS and surely I am going to bring up that issue. Maybe someone here could give me at least a heads up on this problem(if this is even a problem).

So far those are the only things that I noticed with my truck.

matag-tag talaga ang dmax... lalo na kung ang dati mong ride ay kotse.

maraming options - inverting the last leaf (yung mataba) will some how improve it. but waranty issues for your ride.

the predecessor na isuzu fuego LS have thinner leaf springs (pero mas marami) kaya mas malambot ang ride nito.

I see. I guess I will live with that bouncy issue until the warranty expires.

If I am the driver, I really don't feel it that much, but if I am the passenger, oh goodness... I feel like I traveled from abroad.

Well, this is a truck so it should perform like a truck. Maybe when the springs get loosen, the ride will be less bouncy.
