and advice ko pala guys, mas maganda if you can get a bigger sub in terms of diameter. Big sub = Big cone area = More bass.
Kung kukuha lang kayo ng sub less than 8", suggest ko nalag get a decent sounding seps then deaden your doors with a good deadening material like dynamat or cascade.

sir jason, i agree..."the larger the speaker = The more air you move" (LOUDER)...hehe sir i also used "flashband" to soundproof the doors sa other car namin...works well for me... learned it sa KotseAudioclub.com....

sir loyski ever since high school car audio na talaga hilig ko. Iba yun feeling na pagkasakay mo sa car, maganda ang sound quality. Id rather have good sounds than good aesthetics.
Dont use flashband na. Kasi in order para maachieve mo yun "real thing", kailangan mo magpatong-patong ng 2-3 sheets of flashband. Dati I used flashband, I think everyone starts with flashband naman talaga kasi mura siya. Pero after sometime, dadating yun time na you like to upgrade your deadening material to the real deadening material like dynamat. Ang hirap magtanggal ng flashband. Madugo magtanggal.
Dati I experimented my car. I deadened the front doors with dynamat then stock speakers lang. Pagkarinig mo, kala mo may sub yun car.
Just my two cents guys!Last edited by x_jason_x; December 4th, 2007 at 09:39 PM.

loyski mukang interesteding yan ah. Ano yan 3 pcs of subwoofer? self amplified ba?
Dati I used infinity kappa sub. Maganda siya tumunog, very fast midbass response pero I think dahil rin sa sub box yun. I used sealed kasi tapos the box I think is 1.5cu ft. Ang ayaw ko sa mga ready made subwoofer like yun infinity na nasa picture is that you can not maximize the performance of the sub because everything is set already like the box volume.

Guys, I've been toying with the idea of lifting the rear seats by putting in spacers. The height? Depends on the size of the vented enclosure. The lift does not have to be that much but I'm guessing that it will entail removing the jack set to make more space.
Besides, a taller seat off the floor means more comfort
jubilum, loyski - pareho pala tayong particular sa sounds hahaha! I can only imagine when we get together in an EB dito...we will be trying to pound something in the rear seats just for subs.
