Hi Guys,
I'm planning to buy a new pick-up next year. Do you highly recommend the new ISUZU Global DMAX rather than the STRada? I prefer buying 4x2.
Hoping for your feedback............

November 3rd, 2007 11:19 PM #3143depende sa use or need mo sir. para kasing apple and orange yung dalawa
both are "fruits" (pick-ups) but their features are almost very different.
I would highly recommend na ilista mo muna ang needs mo sa pick-up na gusto mo. From there it would be easier to choose.
IMO, hindi ako napopogian sa strada na bago. but then again it is very subjective kasi yun ay sa paningin ko lang naman.
I am very happy with my service DMax...mainly because it is free (it's my company service). Pero if I were to buy a pick-up on my own for my use...I will not limit myself to one option.
And so far, I am also impressed with the new Hilux 4x4 (service of my boss, na minsan minsan ay nahihiram ko). All my needs for a pick-up are satisfied by my DMax...pero the Hilux gives an edge because of the roomier cabin and the extra bottle holder near the A/C (can make my water maintain cold). Pasensya na ang cheap ko - nadaan ako sa bottle holder...hehehe

kung papapiliin ako, strada or hi-lux, wala ako pipiliin dun. Ang pipiliin ko nissan frontier navara. 3rd generation commonrail diesel engine, I think the most powerful in the market. Pero it still doesnt give me the reason to sell my current dmax kasi Im very happy with it.

Mmm..as of now, I have no reason to try new, untested , radical designs like the Strada. Two years ago, I have chosen the Dmax because of its track record of reliability and emphasis on safety compared to the Hilux(toyota) which never even bothered to think about EBD and second airbags( not even a fifth 3-point-seatbelt)! Two years after, I have absolutely no regrets - it really is living up to its reputation!
Besides, depende talaga sa gamit mo. As I use my pickup more for cargo hauling, I would rather choose the more "trucky" of the two which is obviously the Dmax.

I agree with Jubilum it all depends kung san mo gagamitin yung ride mo. for me so far no regrets sa max ko, gamit ko sa byahe ( tipid sa diesel ) and for hauling too kahit na kargado sarap patakbuhin kahit na akyatan di ka mabibitin

Salamat sa mga feedback mga bosing....
I just found out na yung 4x2 na Global DMax is around 1 Million, but the strada 4x4 GLS 2.5 is around 1M also. what do you think is the better?

If dependability is an issue, I'd still pick the D-max...the non CRDi. But if youre really for power, I'd choose the hi-lux or the navara.

November 4th, 2007 08:05 PM #3149so would i bro, (im not a big fan of nissan), we own a strada and we have no reason to complain whatsoever with it. the new dmax is really cutting edge now..pero pag nakakita ako ng hi lux o makasabayan sa parking lot lalo na yong black and with really wicked chrome wheels and big tires),i cant help to stare to it, grabe ang ganda talaga. nagmukhang kawawa ang strada namin.
