Unfortunately yes. I have had an XUVi myself back in 2003 and admit having experience this too myself. It is in the same line of thought why some say that the AT variant of the Crosswind is not as fuel efficient like that of the MT. The driver would have the tendency to step on the gas pedal more.

You'll get used to it... and by then, it'll be ok. Ingat lang overtaking since it takes a little more effort on an AT.

My answer sounds familiar? Welcome to the board!

Thanks again Sir Benzmizer for your immediate reply on my query. Do you know the reasons for the top speed of 80kph and the slow acceleration. Is the XUVi A/T built for this kind of specifications? Thanks.

I believe the "slow acceleration" is expected of a Sporty Crosswind AT BUT the top speed of 80kph is not. Not exactly a fast driver myself but I was able to run mu '03 XUVi to as much as 130kph.

My apologies but I am not a tech guy.... and would rather suggest you yo bring your Crosswind to a trusted shop/mechanic. Better yet, an authorized ISUZU dealer.

(nag-change oil lang ako last month) -Chris

*nemesis/magnehelic, ganito rin naging problema ko with my '02 xuv a/t (up to 80-85kph * 2.5 - 3.0k rpm), newly changed oil din. nagpalit ako ng air filter, and then fuel filter (as recommended by sir dieseldude). now its ok, naiakyat ko pa ng baguio for the holidays. subukan nyo lang, it may help...

Mga Sirs meron po ba kayong alam na mga shops/auto supply sa South somewhere in Alabang, Las Pinas or Binan, Laguna na nagbebenta ng spare parts for a 2002 Crosswind XUVi A/T such as Air Filter and Fuel Filter. Mabagal kasi ang takbo hanggang 80kph lang. Sabi ni laBorer try ko palitan ang Air Filter and Fuel Filter. Yung slow acceleration naman daw normal for an A/T. Mahal kasi sa Casa. Pati na rin po mechanic na marunong tumingin also sa South. Malapit ako sa plant ng Crosswind sa Binan. Meron bang pwedeng tumingin doon? Maraming Salamat.

Pards, call my mechanic/friend from the south: Doods Manzano ( nope, not the actor ) at 0918 588-8357. Say Bob referred you to call him. He may also help you get the parts you need for a reasonable price.

Mukhang ok na yung Crosswind ko. Sa driving style ko lang siguro. Before kasi hanggang 80kph lang top speed pero noon nag adjust ako ng driving style pumapalo na ng 100kph. Medyo ok na rin yung acceleration. Siguro nasanay na rin ako after driving the vehicle for some 2 weeks now. Thanks for the advices.

Patulong naman mga sir. Meron bang way or procedure para ma reprogram ang stock keyless entry ng XUV? nagloloko kasi yung sa keyless entry ko. Pagnakasara and pinindot ko yung lock eh umiilaw sha so gumagana yung pang lock tapos pag unlock naman eh mabubuksan sha pero pag isasara na ulit eh ayaw na gumana. Pagkanaman lock mo yung pinto ulit using yung keys nya and then try mo buksan using yung remote eh ayaw na ulit bumukas. Ano kaya ang problem nito.... nagpalit na ako ng battery eh kaso ganun pa din.
