I drive a 2008 XUV. Could it be na hirap ka dahil 1st time mo to drive to Baguio using your new car? Broken-in na ba pala?

Help din. Anybody experienced rapid tire wear? Am using stock 235/70 R15 Goodyear Fortrera and uneven at halos makalbo na tire wear especially front wheels. Now at 17k mileage pa lang.

sir baka ung usual route nyo maraming turns...AFAIK yung front tires ang nauunang nag wwear cos they are mostly subjected to friction when turning your car in either direction than the rear tires...

by the way guys, what tire can you recommend for me? i'm planning to change my tires as they're already worn off especially the front ones...prefer ko ung mejo may touch ng offroad...if possible yung price range na rin po...TIA!

hello again. bale pang 4th time ko na umakyat ng baguio, the first 2 gamit ko toyota corolla, third was nissan sentra then 4th iyun na ngang sportivo 2008. hirap lang sa hatakan kasi 9 adults and 2 children sakay ko? tsaka isang malaking disappointment ko underpowered nga sya during the times i needed it most...ang overtaking. ilang beses na akong nabigo magovertake dahil alanganin talaga.. hindi ko man lang napatakbo more than 100 kasi ang galaw na ng manibela...ewan ko ba...i felt really sad talaga.well ganito lang talaga siguro ang attitude ng crosswind...slowly but surely at sobrang naninibago lang ako. kailangan masanay ka kung mahilig ka dati sa mabilis, dito after nya siguro ang safety. pati interior design classic. ano pala ang ibig sabihin ng broken-in?

Hi there simplegirl. Kung sanay ka sa mabilis, then, you really have to adjust to the Xwind kasi ganyan talaga sya - mahina ang acceleration and mahina din ang hatak specially kung mabigat ang load mo (11 people mabigat na yun). Yung vibration sa manibela, ganyan talaga sya kapag mga 100 and up na ang takbo mo.

You just have to look at the positives of the Xwind - sturdy, reliable, fuel-efficient, low-maintenance, and ruggedly handsome.

I own a five-year old Xuvi and have a new SUV but so far, the pros outnumber the cons kaya I still love my Xwind who has been my loyal and reliable daily partner during its time.

Route ko 1x/wk is Madrigal office to Cavite via Daang Hari. Although i do make the turns running at 50-60kph. Sayang kasi bwelo. Also, right tyre wear is more pronounced.
Plan to get bridgestones next week sabay wheel alignment na din.

Anyway, will know if it was the tire brand or my driving style (reklamo mga pasahero ko..LOL) in the next few months. BTW, I'll adjust my front wheels' tire pressure from 26 to 30-32 psi. Maintain 35psi pa din sa likod.

i think medyo madali maubos yung Goodyear Fortera, ito rin kasi ang gulong ko ngayon sa harapan almost 8 months ko na gamit ito pero parang mababa na agad yung thread pattern, not like Bridgestone Dueler, naka apat na taon sa akin bago ako nagpalit, medyo malambot yung rubber compound ng Goodyear Fortera wich is good kasi makapit sya sa kalsada, yung nga lang madali maubos lalo na kung puro liko ang byahe mo,

    next time back to Bridgestone
