Hi I'm new to this thread. I was planning to buy the Xwind pag uwi ko dyan sa Pinas but with the reviews and comments you are all giving, is it worth it? How about the latest models? Any reviews on these? Your forum is very informative. Keep it up.

The only revisions for the new Crosswind that actually matter are the inclusion of a turbocharger on manual models (previously, it was only available for automatic variants) and new emissions control equipment (most likely a catalytic converter or particle filter) to meet Euro II regulations. Otherwise, it's still the same banana.
If you're looking for a practical vehicle that's mostly for work, then the Crosswind is good. The turbo is water-cooled (no oil coking problems) and low pressure, so it's not stressed and low-maintenance... the engine is an ancient OHV design with no timing chain or belt, so you don't have to worry about it, and the underchassis is relatively robust.
For taxi duty, I'd prefer using the XTO or XTRM. If you can find a good XTRM, that is... with the soft metal used on the chassis, those things get really beat up (mis-aligned doors, squeaking hinges, creaky cabins, etcetera). The XTO is more refined, but doesn't suffer from being as heavy or harsh as newer Crosswinds.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

oy kasimanwa nga ilonggo... pinag-iisipan ko pa. ngaa? satisfied ako sa crosswind, first love ko. kaso lang may temptation, parang nagustuhan ko yong elder sister nya, si alterra he he he. plano ko benta pang down payment sa alterra. kaso subject for discussion pa kay misis. ayaw nya pakawalan ang crosswind. gustong gusto pa rin. location ko bro sa cavite. kung iloilo friend mo, layo mig. pero sa May puli ko dyan. magkano kaya presyo? well maintained ito. di pa nakaabot sa 25000 kilometers.
