There's no doubt about it. Just exercise patience in your hunt.
Masarap maghanap lalo na kung ready ang budget for it.
Also, bring a very good mechanic - na kikilatis mabuti.

I have a friend who brings his trusty mechanic every time he decides to buy a 2nd-hand vehicle.
This way, it gives my friend a good idea on what needs to be done pa sa vehicle and knowing such, how to haggle the last price for the vehicle.

Suwerte naman at laging maayos ang nakukuha namin (papers and all). Siguro kasi, at the first instance of "duda" or "something is not right," we politely back away kahit gaano kaganda ang itsura ang labas ng sasakyan.

I also remember, once nakakuha na kami, we change all the fluids (brake, coolant, power-steering fluids).
And lahat ng sinabi (kung meroon man) ng mechanic ay ipapaayos namin. We also change all the tires to brand new (if the case warrants it). Then, go to a detailing shop. Kapag luma na tint or 4 years running na yung tint, we also change them to new ones. Then, pa-bless namin sa Antipolo and Manaoag, Pangasinan.

    Good luck!

This way, nahahalo mabuti yung 2T.

Also, minsan walang 2T available.

The best of luck on your hunt, brother.

Hi Guys, is it necessary to add 2T oil filling up fuel? Have seen a couple of doing it but is it necessary?

    Thank you.

Not necessary. Some users swear it smoothens out engine vibrations.

Here's a study I found with a quick google search. Take note the study was conducted in South Africa.

2-Stroke Oil In Diesel – A Technical Study

    Conclusion:
2-stroke oil can contain around 16ppm zinc, or higher depending on the formulation and batch.
Trace amounts of zinc in diesel are known to rapidly accelerate injector nozzle deposits.
Engine test results show that a 200:1 blend of 2-stroke oil in diesel results in a 2% loss of engine power in a 16 hour test due to injector fouling, a risk that would apply to any common rail diesel engine, but could also worsen fouling in older engines.
Vehicles fitted with a diesel particulate filter (DPF) in the exhaust system could experience reduced DPF life due to the collection of ash and metal based contaminants in the filter over time with the continued use of 2-stroke oil.

"Powering the Traviz is a 2.5-liter 4JA1 BluePower direct-injection diesel. If the name sounds familiar, it is because the engine was derived from the Crosswind AUV. It puts out 78 PS at 3900 rpm, along with 176.5 Nm of torque at 1800 rpm, and is Euro 4 compliant."

Kaya naman pala gawing Euro-4. Puwede pang buhayin ang Crosswind.
Maganda ma-update sa ABS at Airbags.

Ganda sana if they gave it more power while they were at it. But as it is I see droves of jeepney operators getting this. Probably the only old school diesel in the market rated Euro 4. Fuel consumption matching modern CRDis with old school diesel maintenance cost! May nanalo na!

hello po. NagpaPMS ako ng Sportivo 2010 namin kanina (plus change oil and ATF dialysis).
    Center Post 3k
    Ball joints 5k
    tie rod 2k
    idler 3.5k
    Transmission Oil seal 4.5k
    wheel bearing 3k
    labor 3.5k

Makatarungan po ba ang prices? Also, yung ball joints, idler arm, tie rods and center link were also replaced dec 2016. So normal lang po ba na for 3yrs, papalitan sila ulit (Im driving daily house to school ng mga kids po then mga once a yr na long drive, if this will help 😅).

Also, do you regularly do ATF dialysis? Every when?
