Anyone can confirm this?. TIA!

As Tholitz mentioned, an affidavit would do (kunyari Hit and Run na lang) kaso weigh mo rin if the job would be worth claiming kasi yung participation is 1% of the insured value of the vehicle. I would assume na at least 1.1M unit mo. Ergo, participation would roughly be P11k. If the job would be any amount lower than that, ilabas mo na lang at ikaw na lang magpagawa.

That used to work before but nowadays, insurance companies know better. From my knowledge, they would require an accredited mosquito shop (a non-dealer) to do mechanical, electrical or bodywork for them. They would also require an authoirized dealer to make an estimate of the job required (specially if the vehicle that needs repair is within the area of an authorized dealer). This also serves as a good reference for them to determine the actual amount required to do the job. So this would (somewhat) address the issue of over pricing.
Just my thoughts.....
