February 26th, 2010 12:06 PM #1244mga sir tanong ko lang kung anong gasoline station ang mas ok?diesel po ng petron o diesel ng shell? sa ngayon diesel ng shell ang gamit ko.sabi kasi ng iba matipid daw yung diesel ng petron.gusto ko sana lumipat ng petron.hindi po ba mausok yung diesel ng petron? ano po gamit nyo na diesel?

medyo tagal na post mo pero i'd like to give my inputs just the same. according sa manual, meron warning light. and in my experience, mahirap yata talga pailawin, kasi, i've tried na tumakbo na nasa "E" na yung pointer ng fuel gauge and abot pa up to around 70 kilometers mahigit and di pa rin iilaw. sabi nila, pag bumaba na sa 5 liters ang fuel mo, iilaw na daw. pero, kadalasan, titigok tigok na makina di pa rin umiilaw yung warning. kasi, kahit na nakapoint na sa "E" yung gauge, mga 10 liters pa actually yung natitira mong fuel.

habol ako ng sagot kunsakali di mo pa na solved problem mo. sounds like palitin na tie rods and centerlink mo pre. sa katagalan, nag lo-loosen yung tie rod ends and center link natin at ganyan ang symptoms. kakabig ka kanan, pag binawi mo sa kaliwa, kakabig naman pakaliwa. that can be very trick lalo na pag mabilis takbo mo. have it inspected agad to rule it out. kung di yun problem, then alignment might help.

just in case di pa na solved ito, yung water pump ng isuzuhilander fits into the crosswind. medyo gagawa ka nga lang ng konting remedyo dun sa pagkakabit ng radiator fan kase iba yung boltings mechanism na nakalagay dun, pero with some bolts and nuts, at konting high temp silicone gasket, pwedeng gawin yan na DIY. and to top it all, wala pang P1000 yung water pump :D sana di mo pa nabili, pero, kung nakuha mo na, ok na rin at least OEM (and OEM price din)

dagdag ko na info for my fellow crosswind fans and fanatics,
- wag kayo bibili ng kelly sports tyres to replace your yokohamas. kahit sabihin pa nila na gawa din ng goodyear yan, ang pangit ng performance. I made the mistake of switching to it last year, and after less than a year, I switched back to Yokohama Aspec. madali mapudpod and nagwiwigle sa high speed yung hinayupak na kelly tires even if napatire balance ko na.
- for those with very long odometer readings (100 to 200 thou kms), check nyo yung mga rubber bushings sa front stabilizer bars nyo, it can get worn out at kelangan palitan. of course, check nyo din tie rods and ball joints. any sign of steering problems can be traced to those parts.
eto na lang muna, 257,000+ kms 01 xwind driver here and still going...

March 8th, 2010 10:18 AM #1250Sirs, if anyone can help me. . .i just bought a second hand XUVI last month. . . ok naman takbo nya, last saturday, i had my first change oil and change ATF na rin. . . nong nagdrain ng ATF, color nestle chocolait, at matubig daw. . . then they put 4 liters of ATF, which is sobra sobra. . .
Btw, first time to drive automatic kaya i dont know about shift shock, malakas ang shift shock na crosswind ko, at sometimes, nagshishift sya twice on a very small interval, like 4 seconds, parang may mali nga ata. . . i went to other shops last sunday, kaso what they'll do is just the same, drain then fill. . .what shall i do. . . .help. worry ko kasi baka lalong masira transmission ko. . . thanks in advance. . .
