IMO - there are better alternatives to the Sportivo considering its price (Starex, Everest, Tucson, Innova, etc.). Only the base (XL) and mid-range variants (XT & XTi) of the Crosswind makes sense to me.

ann32, if you plan to get a crosswind, get an XUV, puro amenities lang nman ang difference. Kaya lang kumuha family ko ng sportivo, kse un gusto ni erpats, ang tigas ng ulo d ko masabihan kse majority ng gastos sa kanya hehe

una ay mapapaso ang waranty mo...any problem na redeemable as factory defect and therefore covered ng waranty can not be claimed anymore.

long term, mas malaki ang chance that the engine will wearout faster...you are using oil in the engine. and heat and oxygen will tend to degrade the oil so kung hindi ito napapalitan regularly, it can pose some problem in lubrication. low lubrication leads to friction and increased in friction on metal parts will cause it wearout faster.

Ideally change oil and filter every 3months or 5,000km (whichever comes first)if you are using regular oil. Synthetic oils can go as high as 6months or 10,000km.

Other parts like belts and air filter can easily be adjusted or replaced anyway. brake pads if not nabantayan ng tama can lead to poor wear or even poor braking (delikado sa inyo).

You have been using it for 17 months and 10,000km without maintenance! wow....that is an abuse of the vehicle. I hope napapaengine cleaning mo man lang sana ito?!?

Another possible that should be near wearing out is your batteries....they usually die at around 24 months (without neglect) and yours seems to be neglected for 17 months na....so hindi ako magtataka if it suddenly dies on you.

    HTH

maraming salamat sa advice mo. from now on ill make sure to change oil/filters every 5km.

yesterday nagpunta ako autoshop for change oil and tune up pati breaks pinacheck ko na din at pinarotate ko na din yung gulong. so pinalitan air filter at oil filter at nilinis air cleaner. yung transimission oil at gear oil daw pinapalitan lang pag nagka-leak sabi ng makaniko. tama po ba na hindi kailangan palitan ang gear at transmission oil unless may leaks? if not, tuwing kelan po ba dapat magpalit ng gear at transmission oil? also yung power steering fluid at break fluid dapat din bang palitan o kailangan lang palaging tama ang laman sa oil reservoir? please advice me po and sensya na kayo for being noob hehe thanks!!

Dapat hindi, but the casa will take any excuse they can get... In the US, casas cannot void warranty if you go to an accredited 3rd party service center. Here in the Philippines, they'll void it anyway.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Void lang ang warranty ng engine. Pero depende na lang yun sa kausap mo.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
