Hi Guys,
Makikisali na din, i have a lot of question kasi i need to know more about this truck, and kasi i Just got a Crosswind XTO 01' A/T Turbo, Pacencya na it's not as new as the XUV/XUVis/Sportivos out there (but given the option and breads, i'll get that model kaso wala hehehe) It has 150+k odo. I got it kasi it was still fresh. New Tires, Original Paint and havent had any freak accidents (knock on wood) The original owner is a Lady and resides on cavite and works on Ortigas, uwian, Makes sense so Maybe kahit 150+k odo na kinuha namin talagang malayo ang binibyahe araw araw. Muka talagang matibay.
I was just told to just have the Engine/Transmission oil changed, so i did. I had it serviced by rapide' just yesterday. I know most of you guys wont agree that i had it serviced there. I've read the threads with regard to their service (rapide horror stories) but most of them are just disagreements on how they price a service. some are with branches that is to far here in manila. Maybe some-not good but there are better. I kinda trust them.
Well anyways. I dont know much of the Xwinds but pls enlighten me a bit:
1. What kind of isuzu engine do I have?
2. The Common A/C dashboard ligh - How do i make it lit once again.
San ba mura magpalinis ng evaporator and maayos?
4. Ung likod ng XTO medyo mababa but i have seen some na mataas. what do i need to do to make it higher and how much kaya?
5. I would like to get a hold of a copy of an Owner's Manual for my vehicle type so i can self study (nerd ba? hehe)
(parang di tama sa thread na to ung tanong. if its alryt i will just repost this on the other thread so some can read and answer.
But I am really excited on driving this dude. And I want to know more about Trucks like these and their limits.

September 8th, 2009 04:14 PM #73hi... your engine is 4jA1- turbo . with 150kms i suggest you have to check everything. i mean like you've said mababa yung likod, maybe the suspension or leafsprings. the AC light have to check with an auto electrical shop like the aircon need to cleaned and checked.
mine i got it at 90kms 2001 xto. pina check ko yung clutch assembly, have my radiator overhauled. anyway as you go on using it you'll see. you'll enjoy using that coz its durable and dependable just make sure to change oil and filters every 5k kms. check the brake pads and shoe also.

September 9th, 2009 06:48 PM #74mga fellow xto owners na my turbo, tanggalin nyo ung breather na pumasok sa intake mramdam nyo ung good performance at power ng xto nyo kc cold air intake is more melecules and 100%combustion of madali pag mag 110km/hr takbo un lang hanngang 130km/hr lng talaga top speed ng sakyan ko, my nakapalo na ba ng 170km/hr sa inyo? and panu magawang 18km/liter ang fuel consumption? kc mine is 14km/liter.

September 9th, 2009 07:15 PM #75yung xto ko city driving with light traffic 10km/lit lang. pero highway when i went the province via sctex average niya is 15km/lit.
ang question ko bakit ang layo ng difference? yung iba post here 12km/lit city driving. ano kaya diperensya ng vehicle ko? im thinking baka injectors ko or something. considering yung city driving ko rare lang yung heavy traffic and mag isa lang ako no passengers, sa highway punong puno pa sasakyan ko.
thanks
