tanong ko na lang topspeed ng bighorn mo? sa akin kasi big tires 33" lifted mga 4", medyo mabagal 120 lang kaya, pero dati nung stock sya na 31" umaabot ng 130 and yun nga mahina hatak at ang bagal umabot sa 100 mauubusan ka na ng kalye bago umabot.

Ano na po nangyari sa Bighorn nyo sir?

I have a bighorn myself, must be model 96 or so, its got the big sunroof and 4jg2 engine. My problem actually is that the throttle is too sensitive. Kakakapagod kasi pinipigilan mo yung paa mo na umapak sa throttle kasi konting apak lang humahataw na agad. Inaamoy pa lang ng pedal yung talampakan mo umaarangkada na . Mine is equipped with the throttle by wire system (wala cables e, puro electronics lang). It can go 140kph no problem. Malakas talaga hatak nya (pati laklak ng gas ~10km/L lang sa highway).

medyo humatak na may inadjust lang sa cable but yun daw drawback ng big tires, anyway its up in the market na as i'm already here in the u.s.

symptoms:

1.. habang tumatakbo, biglang mawawalan ng hatak, tapos mamamatay (parang walang gas)

2.. pag reset ng keys, start agad..

3.. pag check sa pitpump, may hangin.. (bagong palit po yan ha)

4. sa injector na kaya ang problema??

I've been driving a bighorn 93 4jg2 tdic ltd since 2002 so far no major problems but i noticed that it lacks acceleration, gumagapang talaga, what do you think is the problem? and yung gas pedal i can step on it siguro mga 2" lang hindi sya umaabot sa floor, is there something where i can adjust like wires bolts etc??? I have already asked a mechanic about it but he's insisting that it must be the standard for the 4jg2 bighorn, baka mahina daw acceleration, but when i pull the wire that is attached to the gas pedal from the engine malakas yung engine but on the road it seems insufficient yung power, d kaya sa pedal? and lastly if i have to drive over a flyover it can only get to 60 and not to mention you have to have a head start of about 30m, any inputs will be greatly appreciated guys, thanks!!!

have you ever check the clucth disc since before? baka pudpod na patingnan mo transmission, yung pedal itsek mo banda sa may area ng pedal baka may tinataman pagtinatapakan mo, itsek mo rin pala yung clutch pedal mo kung manual yan kung automatic ignore this idea kasi wala akong alam sa matic puro manual sasakyan ko.
