starting price is reasonable. wag lang sana super bare bones. the manual option is a tad expensive.

either way these ppv based suv's are definitely skyrocketing in price.

medyo ot. the top spec gt montero is 2.450m before discounts. last unit pajeros are 2.5m kung meron pa. nice probpem to have 8f you are in the market.

Super old model na kasi ang pajero bk even with the noisy 3.2 na vgt. It's sold out na especially given that mmpc is generous in giving the units huge discounts. Those keen on specs would know that, despite the image it gives and its renowned reliability, iwan na iwan na talaga ito in terms of ergonomics and refinement. Kung nagkaroon lang sana ng 5th gen eto eh kaso wala.

Anyway btt. Yep, facelifted na montero gt 4x4 dati had an initial price of 2.45m. If that still stands today, much better bet na etong mu-x since mas maluwag siya, mas powerful and most of all, decent but spectacular ang rear end nito. Di kagaya sa ms na kahit sa facelifted model, naging mas maiksi man ang led strip ng tail lights eh andun padin yung tear drop design. Sorry but imho, it just won't age well compared to its ppv peers.

Would the LS-E 4x2 a good purchase over something like the Fortuner Q?

    Malaki din increase nila.
I think 1.3m tong 1.5m AT base variant nila.
Hopefully hindi kapos sa features/equipment tong base variant to justify the increase compare sa 1.3m sa previous year.

The facelifted 2021 4x4 GT model price was lowered from 2.45m to 2.25mish when Fortuner 2021 was launched.
Mas naging mahal kasi dating montero nung ni launched facelifted fortuner.

About montero's rear design, user preference nalang yung tear drop design, I find it okay even with the previous gen 3.
