    same here, not a fan of that electronic parking brake... same with switch type gear selector..

    Hindi naman rotary type ang gear selector ng new model since kapareha niya yung sa kambyo ng bagong d-max.

    Aw yikes. Kaya ako personally mas prefer ang hydraulic but telescopic-adjusting steering wheel with reach adjustment, powered (like lc) or not, over any eps hehehe. Kahit pa may auto parking assist yan tulad ng everest eh, parang alanganin naman in the long run. And hopefully, hindi na kasing bigat ng sa outgoing model etong sa upcoming mu-x. Also may paddle shifters na din which is always a good thing kung tinatamad kang humawak sa usual shifter tuwing naka-manual mode ka.

    I do pihit on stationary lalo na sa parallel parking… also when try to singit somewhere else esp. at full atop pihit mo manubela mo before you start moving…

    siguro you mean naka off ang sasakyan or naka On pero off ang engine? Tapos pinopilit kabigin yung matigas na manubela…

    Of all Japanese EPS, honda lng ang special lol. My Korean eps is holding up pretty well.

    I've look at some EPB systems. It looks robust. The only difficult part is replacing the brake pads. It needs a controller. Not sure if some vehicles have a service mode for the brake service.

    I have the old Mu-x, steering is weighted just right pero baka kasi malaking tao ako. Ayaw ng asawa ko idrive mabigat at malayo yung steering.

    So tama ka na telescopic adjustment is preferred, kahit ako hinahanap ko na rin. Pag mahaba legs malayo ang upuan, inaabot tuloy ang manibela. Nakaka pagod sa balikat pag long drive kasi di ka makasandal ng maayos.

    Yung updated Fortuner mas magaan kahit hydraulic dahil sa bagong steering pump. Advantage lang ng EPS, pwede mag integrate ng lane-keep assist and parking assist. Sa fortuner meron lane-keep assist pero gamit yung brakes.
