ano po yung gold series? wala yata dito sa pinas yan eh. pero im convinced na, na alterra na get ko by august siguro. medyo matagal pa pero worth it siguro ang paghihintay ko!

Was the Alterra parked on the SLEX? I have driven in many Diesel Adventures and find them horsepower limited and unlikely to beat an Alterra on speed. The Diesel Adventure is a fine vehicle but you get just what you pay for.

Diesel Adventure (74 hp) Normally Aspirated
Diesel Alterra (146 hp) Intercooled Turbo Diesel

nyahaha..nakakatawa naman yung nagpost nun.,baka naman pinabayaan nalang siya nung alterra?.. kasi napakaimposible e.nung ngbatangas kasi kami dumaan kami sa startoll kasama yung friend ko, gamit niya ung adventure. naiiwan sya ng crosswind namin e..hehe..flatout kaming dalawa. maniniwala pa sana ako kung gasoline ung adventure. hehe

Ngek! Ngek! Ngek! driver din kaya ako ng Adventure and I also owned one. Malaki difference ng dalawa at palagay ko nasa driver na lang iyan... Kung ako nasa Alterra, I can easily outrun an Adventure anytime.

I dont agree with that speed of an adventure:: I have a trooper 03, and a delica van with a 4D56 turbo engine which I converted to manual with a 4.222 gear ratio at the rear. I once raced it with an adventure of my friend in a short 4 km stretch. and you know what , even with my high stance and strong wind resistance delica that adventure never overtakes me in a 130km/hr speed.

adventures 2.5 diesel engine has 75 HP .. lupet no? toyotas D4D 2.5 diesel has 101 HP .. lupet no? so how can 75 HP can reach 190kmh?

sorry for the misunderstanding, nag post na ako sa thread na yun. after a week nag 190, naputol yung speedometer cable ng adv namin.kaya ang theory ko kaya pumalo ng 190 kasi pasira na speedometer cable namin.

pero eto totoo, nag 160 kami dati way back 1999, wala pang 1 year adv namin noon. kuya ko gumawa noon.
