My first car had leatherette seat covers. Pros: easy to maintain, looks great.
Cons: mainit sa pwet pag nabilad. Malagkit sa balat lalo pag pawis.

My 2nd car did not have the leatherette seatcover.
Pros: malamig pag upo. Hindi mainit sa loob.
Cons: madungis tignan after more than a week. Dumudumi and need regular maintenance by changing seat cover.

My upcoming 3rd car, i dont know. Might get leatherette dahil madali imaintain.

mga 5-6 K siguro, depende na rin kung anong tipo ng material, anong sasakyan at gaano kagara ang nais.

is the philippines, the car seat cover capital of the world?

my used car that i bought, came with leatherette seat covers. it looked good and well-cared for.
after some months, i had them replaced with fabric covers.
para kasing velcro pag upo ko. my pants refused to slide, once i sat on the leatherette seat covers.

dropped by Seatmate earlier... they quoted 7.5k for a set of seat covers for a Hyundai Accent. They also quoted 2k to leather wrap a Honda Civic steering wheel (add 300 if you want a two tone or perforated leather combo). 850 if you want the shifter knob wrapped.

no aftermarket seat covers.. detailers can easily clean the seats naman kahit every 6months.

will you settle for fabric seat covers?
    much cheaper...
and in all likelihood, 'it's on stock and ready to be installed'.
