    Hi tsikoteers!!

After much deliberation and casting votes with my family, we decided to retain the first unit for the following reasons, some might argue na after winning the battle why not claim you prize? Well, here are our reasons na I discussed thoroughly with my family.

In short yesterday palang pagkakuha namin and test drive ko, we were 100% satisfied na. That point in time kahapon settled na ako at tanggap ko na na impossible talaga na palitan naman dahil never pa sa history na nangyari as far as I've been told.

Kaya imagine my reaction nung tumawag na approve na for replacement parang ulong-sulong tuloy na feeling. Gusto ko syempre dahil that's what I've been asking for, pero on the other hand settled na ang pakiramdam namin sa gesture na ginawa nila. If I was just 98% satisfied sa job then in a heartbeat balik na agad ako doon.

    2. I've already inspected and scrutinized every inch of my unit. If we decided to get the replacement then I'll have to do that again without assurance what to expect nanaman.

    3. Time. Time. Time. I'm in the middle of business expansion kaya I'm concerned din sa additional time and effort to spend on the swap procedure. Although maiksi lang naman yung waiting time na ibinigay, I just don't know about the paperwork.

All in all we are 100% Satisfied sa response ng H.A.R.I. and Hyundai Abad Santos. From the start I never bashed them and objectively stated what happened and simply aired out my justified disappointment in the beginning, understandable naman kahit kanino mangyari iyon. Pero just the gesture na ginawa nila parang napasabi ako sa sarili ko... WOW, now I know that in the next 5 Years makakaasa pala talaga tayo sa promised nila na 100% Customer Satisfaction. Then dun palang very happy na ako!

Should anymore problem arise (hopefully wala na, hehe) I know na may maasahan ako and I will continue to patronize Hyundai Abad Santos for service and our nearing purchase of the new Accent Blue this March.

Special thanks sir NEIL of Team Hyundai Philippines na tumawag pa to inform Hyundai Abad Santos Customer Relations. Everyone salamat for all your comments and support. I know na malaking part talaga ang forums.

I'm not an expert on the PDI procedures or what not, pero in a customer's point of view, specially one who has been in an experience such as mine, I would feel absolutely secure kung may guarantee of at least a day or two. Anyway although that might not be feasible we can't deny that that would be ideal and favorable to the consumers with little or no risk at all to the dealer if they are to follow PDI procedures to a tee.

So possible na may defect na madidiscover during the actual operation.

My colleagues na nasa development are using this "Weibull" analysis sa pagpepredict ng failure.

To give you an idea (apply natin sa vehicle using kms range instead of time), try to do these:
    1. Mag draw ng letter "L" (vertical line going down then habaan ang horizontal).
    2. Hatiin ang horizontal sa sampu then bawat isang guhit is 10,000km so total is 100,000k. Tapos na warranty after ng 100k so not all manufacturer/or designer care much about the trend after the warranty lalo na its payback time na yan sa mga ginastos during the warranty period.
    3. Yung first 10,000 ay hatiin pa sa sampu para may tig-1000km.
    6. Yung 50, 100, 150, 200, at 250 ay sample value po yan ng mga components na possibleng mag fail out of some volumes of components (for example 100,000 or 1,000,000) na naproduced.
    7. Yung pababang line ng "check" (200 going to 50), illustrates that the brandnew (never been driven vehicle) is more likely to fail compared to the one that been driven to some thousands of kilometers. Of course after that very best condition there will be an increase in the probability of failure.
