mas matalbog talaga ang leaf spring compared to coils. Pero kaya namang i-tune yan to a comfortable ride, aftermarket shocks lang katapat nyan.Yung nga lang pag naka coils ka medyo maalon naman

October 10th, 2006 04:18 PM #33i had a 97 galloper 1 V6 gas, A/T, rear coil springs. it was 3 yrs old when i acquired it. mukhang atrasado ang odometer, 20T km lang pero napalitan na ng previous owner ang alternator, a/c compressor. i had to replace the rear evaporator, power window switch assembly, fan belt, tires, etc.
super lambot rear springs, masarap sakyan. had to sell because ang takaw sa gas, 4.5 to 5.5 km/liter city. it also had an annoying juddering steering column (parang galing sa gear box) na hindi maayos. tumitirik pa after long trips...
you may be able to buy it cheap but remember that it's quality is comparable to earlier hyundais (poor). might as well get a subic pajero...

they are similar, you can even use a Galloper's Manual tranny for a 4d56 Subic Pajero Auto Tranny.

mga sirs,
until ngayon, hinahanap ko parin ang perfect galloper for me. daming gallopers dumadating dito sa cebu every week. gusto ko sana, yung Galloper 2 na M/T, rear coils, dual A/C, and TDIC. ewan ko lang if there's really a galloper with all those specs coz andami ko nang tiningnan. either there's 1 of it missing or sometimes 2. pero napansin ko lang mga Sirs, everytime I encounter a bubble-top galloper, single A/C lang sya. lahat po ba ng bubble-top, single A/C lang? does it apply also to Mitsu Pajeros?
heto po yung recently na tiningnan kong galloper. naka AS-IS condition pa po yan, surplus from Korea, for 200K. sayang perfect na sana...naka-single A/C lang???Last edited by ravelcop; October 28th, 2006 at 09:43 AM.

Locally, lahat ng Pajero ay bubble top. Dual air was not also offered locally. Si afrasay, nagpakabit pa ng dual a/c system on his former Pajero.

Ravelcop,
Ok lang naman ang hindi dual aircon. Unless puno lagi ang ride mo until 3rd row. Mas mahal mag pa service ng dual a/c at pa dagdag ng freon. Ride ko parehong UBS one is dual the other is single halos hindi ko naman nagagamit yung rear a/c. Often nagkakayelo nalang yung evaporator sa rear kasi off ang blower.

actually Sir, gagawin ko syang daily service sa office. although most of the time, di ko magagamit ang rear A/C, maraming beses ko rin syang kelangan gamitin for the whole family. siguro mga 3 times a week puno lagi ang sasakyan. totoo po bang kahit hindi mo paandarin ang rear A/C, gagana pa rin ang evaporator nito? so ibig sabihin wala din pala akong matitipid kung front A/C lang paaandarin ko?

Rav,
The freon going to the rear still circulates to and from the back evaporator maski hindi ginagamit. Sa servicing naman 2 ang expansion valve na kailangan mo palitan aside from more freon and higher servicing charge. Makakatipid rin kung serado ang blower pero minimal lang. kung family use ang ride i think having dual aircon is justified.
Daming issue ng SU7:grin:
