License Plates - How long average wait time?

Count 80 to 89 days bago dumating yung plates.

Yung akin brad 43 days lang released na yung plates, parang nasa preferred ending no. din yan. Yung akin ending in 5 and may nabasa din ako before na mabilis marelease pag ending in 5.

Depende rin pala sa import date ng kotse. Kasi yung CSR lumalabas 45 days after the import date. So kung medyo naunang stock ang nakuha niyong unit, maswerte kayo mas mabilis dadating yung plates.

*strada_08 I think this additional $$$ all started when registration of new cars has to be 3 years na, you have to pay the rest of the 3rd year kaya kung #5 ang ending mo pro LTO registration date mo is January you may need to add more $$$ to full pay your 3rd year LTO coverage kase next registration month mo is May pa of the 3rd year. Say sticker is 2011-2013, you need to pay February to April of the year 2013. This is my own analysis and haven't got the chance to ask my LTO connections for explanation dahil immaterial lagi yung binabayaran ko as additional $$$ sa sticker plates.

Almost everyday dumadaan ako sa Taft. Never been flagged down yet though gwapo daw kasi nagmamaneho :naughty2:

Hehe Gabi yun sir, nagulat din ako nung bigla meron checkpoint nun sa Taft. Napabilis din usapan namin ng mga pulis nun nung sinabi ko na doktor ako sa Ospital ng Maynila. Kaya siguro pinawalan ako agad. hehe

Can they legally charge you for driving without plates even though ang may kasalanan naman yung lto sa kupad nila mag issue ng plates? Ano na gagawin ng new car owners? Itatambak nalang yung new car nila sa garage ng ilang buwan hanggang sa lumabas plates nila?

The LTO should do what they did last year.... wherein they sent out a memo putting a halt on the apprehension of new vehicles without plates/stickers because they recognized that it was their fault and not the car owners'. This year though, we have an LTO head more concerned with STRADCOM corporate matters that is why new car owners are hit with a double whammy of having to wait for their car plates for a long time while getting inconvenienced by short-sighted amateur bureaucrats. Grrr!

tama eto sir. minsan po kasi ang binayaran ni client or free ng agent 3years lang. kapag po nilibre ng agent is 3 3/4 years wala na dapat additional.

got my unit may 28, got my plate june 29. (today!)

1 month! I guess that's already considered fast? right?

I also got my plate today. Got my unit last May 14.

1 month and 15 days waiting. not so bad
