Yep. Visited the casa just this Thursday and noticed that they're now issuing new format permit-to-operate papers. Yun saakin kasi meron doon date. Like "January 1 - January 30" yun sa bago naman it's "1 month for date of issuance" and then there's a date on top. Nothing major, just noticed it due to boredom

June 13th, 2011 11:38 PM #332it's been 3 months and yet wala parin yung plate. sino ba usually may problem, casa or lto?
lagi ako nag follow-up pero wala silang mabigay na definite time. lagi nalang po nagpapadala ng permit to operate.

June 13th, 2011 11:52 PM #3331 month + I got na our plates before. I didn't put it immediately though... Anyways, most of the time the delay comes from LTO.

We agree that most of the delays come from the LTO. Take notice that some "authorities" don't accept the "permit to operate". I'm roaming around Metro Manila without plates (eventhough I have them).. but avoid Makati unless you really have to do something there. Kung chances ko mahuli sa QC is 10%, in Makati that shoots all the way to 60%

Delay is because of the customs.
45 days bago i-release yung CSR.

June 15th, 2011 06:48 PM #340I got my plates ending in 3 last week... it took 2 months so tama lang.
Out of curiousity, why would cops not honor permit to operate if talaga namang wala pang plaka? Are we supposed to just park our cars in the garage and not use them if wala pang ma release na plaka ang LTO? Thats why may control number nga e.. whats the official LTO policy ba on this?
baka naman nagdidilehnsya lang mga yun... did your friend give them grease money? if so how much?
