will the stargazer be as trouble-free as the innova?
To determine the phil reputation with regards to brand.
    Look at its resale value.
Toyota cars by far has a better resale value than any other car makers.
How's Hyundai resale value now a days?
Ask any Buy and Sell dealers and you will know which cars are favored in the 2nd hand market.
The only reason some car models by other manufacturers where able to topple a Toyota brand model in top spot is because of the large discounts being offered by the other manufacturer.

    Yupp large discount.
Let's say binigyan ka ng 200k discount ng hyundai while toyota is walang discount on the similarly priced vehicle.
Resale value, for sure mas malaki resale value value toyota but with the given discount from hyundai, cgro justifiable cgro why mas mura ng 200k more or less hyundai unit.

Sorry for those who bought at SRP w/o discount though.

Let's see sa current policy ng hyundai if they can stick with this policy for so long.

Good if may discount pa boss., yan if too good to be true talaga tong new hyundai policy na no cash discount.
Yung gas, premium din yung interior nya, parang kinopya line-up variants ng Honda CR-V.

Yung Honda lang lately, may mga complaints from US regarding their CVTs.
2015 or 2016 CR-V ba yun that are now encountering failures.
Yung Honday AT units, daw ang matibay talaga.
Bat daw nag shift to CVT if tested naman daw yung AT units nila.

US line-up nila yung value for money.
Complete features plus their pricing are undercutting the competition.

Mapapakamot ka nalang na most reviews ng Hyundai units there are bang for the buck.
Pero nung old dealer dito sa Pinas, dami tinanggal features, mahal pa price compare sa JP brands.

Like the accent sedan with all of the airbags removed.

Tinanggal din ata yung antilock brakes.

Same with their grand starex base model. Meanwhile you can get dual airbags as standard on a toyota hiace commuter.

this is true, couple of years back when i was searching for a coding car sa mga bank repo, i noticed na ang laki ng depreciation ng hyundai kona, from more or less 1M brand new; tapos mga less than a year use below 10K KM mileage nasa 600-700K na lang, and hindi lang 1 unit, malimit ganun ang range ng pricing ng kona, i almost got 1. Pero napaisip ako bakit ganun lang value niya after a few months of use, so ended up with a Honda.

Yupp 1M Brand new, but there was a time that Hyundai offered 205k discount for Kona.
So nung nag avail nito, more or less 800k nalang cash out.
If second hand is 600k-700k, not too bad, malapit pa rin sa discounted price.
Yan for those who availed cash discount.
