Meron din naman benefit. You run about 5 to 10 mins on SLEX/TPLEX before you either click to speed up or step on the brakes. Then you set your cruise again. It does seem to add more complications to the driving but I felt more relaxed than the normal keep your foot on the gas pedal and constantly looking to make sure you are not going over the speed limit too much.
I guess the constant interaction also helps keep me awake hehehe

July 29th, 2019 04:43 PM #186That's bs man, modern cars have engine splash shields and a water tight sealing all-round. Water inside the engine would create a milkshake like mixture inside. I suspect that the car didn't have enough oil or he just got a lemon car. He should email or write a formal letter to Hyundai and insist that the car hasn't been exposed to severe "water splashing" other than a normal rain in the city.

July 30th, 2019 01:16 AM #187some cars' fronts are designed to maximize air flow into the engine bay, so as to maximize engine cooling.
unfortunately, i believe, it also encourages water to go in.
also, heavy water spray from heavy rain or, more likely, water thrown up by nearby cars' tires as they cut thru minimally-flooded road surfaces,
find their way under the bonnet in the engine bay, and into an ill-positioned engine air intake that's sucking everything within reach..
in a 1600 displacement engine, as little as 50 ml of water sucked into a cylinder, can hydrolock that cylinder.
nice thought exercise, this.

I've used Stainz Out and Stain Guard from Glaz (Microtex) but I noticed it made my windshield form...
