Hi folks,
Got this idea after my Baguio trip. Please bear with me. Also, though it may be or eventually be related to the fuel consumption thread, my intention is just to catalog the distance portion.
So, without further ado, please put down the farthest you've travelled on a single tankful of gas.
Please also include:
- the date around when this achieved
- year/variant of your GS
- composition of the drive (i.e. mainly hiway, mainly city, mixed)

Actually, on the way to Baguio, I registered 235 kms until Caltex Sison with only 1/8 tank consumed. Added another 52 kms from there till The Manor climbing via Aspiras-Palispis and consuming another 1/8 tank. 287 kms for 1/4 tank of Euro 2 diesel, not bad at all
Say the tank is 75 liters (18.75 for 1/4 tank, 9.375 for 1/8 tank):
- That's about 15 km/L from Ortigas up to Baguio via Marcos, nice. And that's with a lot of overtaking on MacArthur, though within limits at NLEX and SCTEX.
- An expectedly underwhelming 5.55 km/L from Sison up to Baguio. Nawili sa akyatan, sarap humatak!
- About 25 km/L from Ortigas to Sison. Whoa!
Of course, these are just guesstimates, assuming the fuel gauge is fairly accurate and that it's equally split into 4 sections, which really isn't the case. But hey, pang long drive nga talaga ang GS, hence my curiosity for starting this thread.

*glenn,
75L according to the spec sheet.
*fourtheboys96,
I would if I had the chance actually. But since I was not planning on topping up at Caltex Sison and in Baguio once I got up, this was just my way of estimating for each segment. That figure dropped a lot on my next tankful before heading for Manila. And that was quite expected as well coz of the city driving that entailed climbing and while on a full load of 9 adults and 4 kids with some cargo.

February 5th, 2013 10:12 AM #10I am OC i that I have fuel consumption records of our vehicles since 2008.
Farthest on the GS was 668 km taking NLEX-SCTEX and back.Pumped 67.12 liters for average consumption of 9.96 km/L.
My thoughts: Resale value is really about perception, and right now the perception is that a...
